Website seems defunct. But Signature Solar is selling them

The width of panels for these mounts are NOT listed on power fields website. The instal instructions make no mention of it. I received an initial email response from power field but nothing further. I’m getting “scam” vibes from this company. Did you have any issues?

Definitely not a scam. I met them at the solar expo in Vegas last year. They just got into the residential market so still working out the kinks in that process. They’ve mainly focused on commercial solar farms. Reach back out to them via email. Or you can email me your contact info and I can let their CTO know to get back to you asap.

You show the “extention” clips for larger panels. Where did you get them? They are not on power fields website, and not in any of their online instruction manuals?
Are you possibly beta testing for this company? They talked about larger buckets for larger panels, but the clip looks like a way to achieve greater panel range with the current product

They’ll send the extension clips with your order once they get the details of your project.

37.8” - 41.3” panels fit the stock power rack. Do you happen to know the size of panels your extentions fit? I don’t actually have my panels yet but was going to order the power racks from signature solar. I’d like to,have the extentions for future proofing

@@BrentMcDonald-t5t I’m not sure the exact measurement for that. Shoot an email to Powerfield Energy and they should get back to you within a few days.

@@IOKIYAR I live in a county that does not require any inspections for ground mount solar systems. I’m laughing all the way to the bank though by saving $15,000 over a metal rack system drilled into my solid rock ground.

@@unpluggedtexan The engineered design provided by the manufacture of those buckets, required 2 buckets per panel and 450 lbs. per bucket = 900 lbs. per panel on my permitted installation. Even allowing for engineering over kill you might want to add some weight to those buckets. The panel on the West end required 900 lbs. the inside panels required 600 lbs.

@@IOKIYAR I spoke to Powerfield energy last week and they are getting them recertified. It looks like they are going to be able to drop the weight requirements quite a bit soon. Especially if they are daisy chained together using load sharing like I have installed them. We’ll see.
