Here's my experience with APA: Several years ago I owned a Pit Viper, which was their single cam bow at the time. I absolutely loved it. It was smooth and fast. Although the design hasn't changed much in the last few years, the APA's are just well thought out and timeless. The machining and quality was very evident. Another thing that I can't say enough about is the grip. I don't have big hands and I loved how the grip felt and I think that's one of the reasons I shot that bow so well. I live in North Carolina and there are no APA dealers here now, although back in the day Buttermilk Creek Outfitters in Burlington carried them. But I wouldn't hesitate in buying an APA bow sight unseen. They have a great reputation for going all out to satisfy their customers. I'm going to buy a new bow this summer and APA is at the top of my list

All of us were pretty floored with the speed after throwing a whisker biscuit and a cheap sight on it just to chrono it out of the box. He shot it at bow techs facility after they set it up and he sent one through a target and into their concrete wall with a 300 spine arrow, they politely asked him to step down to a 250 spine lol
Looks the 2017 Bear LS6. gotta give bear credit for coming out with some awesome risers over the years like the perception. too sad they keep losing market shares to hoyt
Its like they rushed this review out. There are many repeated tech parts in different clips. They also didn't talk about the new cam or how much of a game changer the Micro tune is. It was just like here is the bow, here is how fast it shoots. Also with those speeds I think both bows were not tuned correctly. Both were down on speed by 20fps. Which is just a turn or two away with the micro tune. Bit disappointed with this review. Seemed thrown together, especially when they talk about the EZtune mods and point to the Rotating draw stops. The EZ tune is on the other side. Its just a draw length mod.
Such a nice raiser but the bow is with draw modules not adjustable and the cams are not synchronize. If they had moved to a modern cam system the bow easily would of been in the top tear . I am not sure about the single limb maybe is ok but it defiantly has a weak spot where it splits in to 2. This is just the nature of the design not this specific bow. This bow is hard not to notice it has soo many good things but it is stuck in the past with the module cam system.
mods are only $30, having mods instead of a movable system means less weight on the cam so more speed. Its also cheaper to make as less parts on the cam and less machining time. I would say its a bow for more advanced archers who know what draw length they are and are more interested in how to tune a bow etc.
@@christophersherrington5412 Probably you are correct. But this limits the market exposure because new customers prefer adjustable cam. Also adjustable cam has higher resale value since looking for parts is not required. Maybe the manufacture is too focus on making manufacturing more convenient to them but is the customer that pays the bill on the end. I personally looked in to this company last year since it was Canadian and I wanted to buy a bow from them but on the end even I was willing to pay the higher price I end up buying Bowtech because the bow checked all the boxes. A product has to check all boxes not only some and all the local dealers were fans on Hoyt, PSE and Bowtech.
@@MickyMouseLimited I must admit I'm very hesitant between the Bowtech Revolt, Solution, Reckoning and Apa bows... In the balance, Bowtech have a waiting time of almost 5-6 months and Apa is canadian (like me) ... Tough choice! ;)

I have wanted a APA bow for some time now just got to get the wife on board with me getting a new bow but still love my bear LS-6
