Just learning key board and chords, found your vid, lead to play along with u at 2:21 really good for timing too. Thank you, all for the Most High! 🙌🎼❤
I grew up listening to a lot of rock and metal but I've been getting into a lot of jazz, neo soul and R&B but I'm also hoping to join a church band soon too this is extremely helpful! You got a new sub!
I want to thank you for such helpful playing tips man. I play by ear and I was always familiar with the progressions and how they are used in music but it's good to add some spice to your contribution when you can and the riffs you illustrate really gives you options to choose from. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Loll
Can you breakdown the chord shapes by note name and frets. Maybe please add some chord diagrams and tabs? For people who don't know theory. Thanks for sharing.👍
Thank you so much for this lesson. I tried my best to transpose the chords to my ukulele. I am starting out and am so hungry to just worship with it! Can you possibly show this lesson for ukulele players. If not I thank you anyways for the sharing of your time and gift.
How do you do the embellishment at 2:05? The fingering is easy, but I have to press extremely hard on the strings to get a sound, it isnt viable while playing at all. Is it low action that allows it:?
First time I see you I am a beginner .You played that chord awesome. Definitely advance for me. Even if I wanted to understand some of the placement of the fingers I couldn't. 😞 :(
Great lesson as usual! Only, one thing... that C chord voicing. It’s a Sus 2. Not a Sus 4. I’m sure it was just a slip up because the chord diagram says it’s a Sus 2.
hey Travis, i been playing about a few years now and this vid make a lot of since but it left me kind of confuse a little, when you started make the chord shapes in different position of the fret board. the chord you called an g it appear to be an a major 7 chord that's just a example. if you could put up an chord chart when you are explaining your lesson it would really help a rookie like myself out big time. sorry for the long comment but ur videos are very helpful.
Been learning theory for years, but you are giving great examples of embellishments over easy common chord progressions. You are an excellent teacher.
You guitar players are so ahead of me, But I will pray for progress, and I will get better.
