I'll never forget the first time I heard her voice coming out of my Bose 901s!🎶💫 Her slightly sharp, soft but lilting delivery on "Smooth Operator" just floored me.👏
I’m 34 I remember listening to sade at 9 years old in my room and my parents coming inside my room like “the heck u know about this”
I saw her live. She puts on the absolutely best show and her band is amazing.
Sade is her own Universe. Like Prince, like ZZ Top, like Ray Charles all their music just is their own sound.
What an Honor to be one of the talented Musicians that performed in this amazing song from one of the best at what she does.
"Sade" are an English band, formed in London in 1982 and named after their lead singer, Sade Adu. Three members, Paul Anthony Cooke, Stuart Mathewman, and Paul Spencer Denman, were originally from Hull in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Its music features elements of soul, quiet storm, smooth jazz and sophisti-pop..... Yes, "Mesmerizing"
Sade seems to cast a spell over everyone as they fade heart and soul into her music. An amazing talent.

Live Aid was amazing. 1.5 to 2 BILLION people watched it when it happened. And there was probably around 5 billion people in the world at that time. 2 cities-one in England & one in the US, televised live. You should see it, legendary people.

I strongly suggest you listen to her songs "Pearls" and "Nothing can come between us". The first will touch your soul. The latter is upbeat smooth masterpiece. Those are just two of her stunning sound and catalog.
My 80's playlist included only 2 women. Sade and Randy Crawford. Timeless talents.
First of all she is so Beautiful ! Talk about a catalog to choose from it'll take a couple years to go through her music ! I have every album she ever put out , Between her saxophone player and Tina Turner's and Supertramp's , They got the top 3 saxophone players out there ! She's amazing live , She did a live concert in San Diego that was filmed , It was either in 2006 or 2008 ? Definitely worth taking a look at on your own time ! Obviously there's a 20 year gap between this and the San Diego concert , So her and her band are much more advanced !

I was just in front of the mixing tent with my wife (then girlfriend) on my shoulders as she is a big Sade fan. I, for one, was perfectly happy but I know what you mean. The performance was flawless.

The first "Heavy Metal" band that set the table for all that followed, Front Man "OZZY" Osborne scared the HELL out of many god fearing people back then. The word Legends is no where near adequate for this band.... Black Sabbath - "Iron Man"... then do "Paranoid"... "The Wizard".... "War Pigs"
