Yes, and he says the indices are steel. They aren’t, they are while gold. Also. The explorer 40 is not a “starter Rolex” … it’s a nice watch to keep and wear.
Yeah, so funny he both showed he has callipers, and showed he does not know how to use them! They are not the correct ones to use though. They would absolutely scratch it to hell! Even the resin ones do if you are not super careful.
This dude literally just compared a 214270 MK1 dial with a 224270 🤦🏻♂️ . Yeah, don't buy from these guys. 🤡 And the worst part is, I bet he still won't know what he did wrong.
Anybody think this video has Sham-wow vibes? What a difference a few months make. The 224270 40mm is going for closer to $8500-$9k in Sept 2023. I'm on the list at my AD and it's looking more like a month or two wait. That $11k "deal" is a ghost of the (recent) past.
@@watchguys_ I lived in NYC for a dozen years, and I believe you. People there will spend $11k on a $9k watch from a guy who doesn't know anything about the watch... that's very NYC
In the UK there are currently a couple of sellers that would take $8500 or even slightly less... Heard of people getting "the call" for the 40 mm after less than a month
Check chrono 24 and find out the market value. If you ask a jeweler or a watch dealer how much, they will tell you how much and it’ll be a lot more than the actual price
Bro is lying. The 39 Exp is actually like 38.2mm. The 40 is actually 38.6mm. Funny that he’s holding the tool to measure them but doesn’t do it 😂

3,6,9 is white gold. Also that’s the MK1 version, the MK2 has those numbers lumed.
The indices are white gold, not stainless steel
This is a comparison between the 214270 Mk.1 and the 224270. Would have liked to see a comparison between the Mk. 2 and the 224270.
Insane price. $11000?
The mark 2 39mm has lume also
are these new?
I'm looking for a 36mm explorer complete
Going grey means no Rolex are starter Rolex!
Print is different too
39mm❤❤❤
The 224270 is also 39mm. It is true.
You are comparing the Mk1 version of 39mm, not so much apple to apple comparison.
This guy got a lot of shit wrong and the 40 is priced wayyyy too high
Pagani is 40mm

You have no idea what you're talking about SMH....do some homework before you make a video
Got the 40mm one from my AD at retail, 3 months wait...do NOT buy from gray dealers and spend 3k more😂
I got the call 2 months ago… but I passed. I just fell out of love, now I ain’t sure if I made the right decision
Aside from waiting 3 months, did you have to play any games with the AD to get on the wait list?
@@paulbonaventura4969good luck paying grey market prices

@@filmaelculdetomare I got the call after 5 weeks on the list.
@@lamarfandango1623 fantastic, I just got on the list last week so hopefully it won't be long. Ebony your Explorer 👍🏻
The 3,6,9 are stainless steel?? Lol, uh no, they are gold dude. You should probably know this since you are a “dealer.”
11k ??😂😂😂
That’s what I’m saying
This guy is just making shit up
Including the price 😂
Also the 39mm is the MK 1 the 2 has the blue lume
11k for the 40 😩
The biggest difference is that one is discontinued and one is not.
Next Video: He learns how to use those callipers!
11?! Isn't retail like 7500? These aren't hard to get from ADs
White gold not stainless on the numerals. C’mon man
what da!????
ok fella, back to watch school for you.
