You will hear it in the news, some classes and conferences but nobody speaks it in the street colloquially. The written form is extremely common though. It's generally compared to Shakespearian English.

My dad has sent me to an arabic school (along with regular school) for 4 years now. And only my dad speaks french in the house. In the arabic school the teachers dont even know english and the students speak arabic (and english cuz the school is in uk). And I find learning stuff (particulary other languages) much easier too learn on the internet. In school I am learning french, and i teach myself some french at home too. My dad also speaks french too as his first language (Algerian) , so that's a boost) . Youre videos are reallu great!! I already know how to read and write , I can understand some but I don't speak.
They will be more and more relevant as muslim population is growing fast and they want to learn Arabic so it will only increase in need for these videos of imran alhamdulillah
