- In the shadow of the year 2450, a vast landscape of "Black Sand" stretches across a forgotten world, where the remains of a lost civilization are half-buried under the weight of their own decayed technology. This sand, a byproduct of a once-pervasive and intricate network of machines that maintained life, now lies as a testament to a society's demise. The Hyperframe Network, which once linked cities and minds, has deteriorated into fine, dark particles, marking the failure of a system that was to sustain a civilization but ended up suffocating it under layers of its own detritus. Now, the very sand that signifies the collapse of human ingenuity is tread upon by survivors, a constant, gritty reminder of the fragility of progress and the heavy cost of a future built on the unstable pillars of overreliance on technology.

This is one of my faves! So great for concentration, moody and peaceful, lonely but hopeful at the same time because the buildings have friends inside who are helping to rebuild this place.

Is there a place to download these videos from? I have always wanted to design a room with a screen and surround-sound system to just display rotating ambient images and sounds like these. They would really bring a place to life, as well as help temper and provoke the minds of those living within, and any guests. Especially these, which are so rich in story and meaning behind them. I used to be a huge 2814 and general vaporwave fan. It was great to work, study, and relax to, or workout at the gym with if I just wanted to zone out and keep my emotions level (vs listening to something with lyrics). Obviously with their departure being ~7 years ago, it is nice to have another artist that while different and unique, hits that vibe and fills that void for me. Thank you very much for listening, it’s a genre called ambient. It’s been around for a while I believe and it usually characterized with no percussion elements and smooth large pads and synths. But I’m very glad you enjoy these videos. more to come.
