Can you play jazz on a Steinberger Spirit GT-Pro? Sure you can! It is not a full-size jazz box indeed. But, this guitar is so much fun and a great swiss army-like tool to have around.

I got mine about 2 weeks ago and I love it. It does have some fret issues out of the box though. Buzzing on the 1st and 2nd frets.

Mine is ok(not perfect though), but I heard some of them could use a pro setup/fret leveling.

@@Avirothbard mine needs a leveling for sure. Still worth it though. I got it setup pretty good besides that.

Great playing! Man I really want one of these, I have back hernia and it kills me carrying my Sheraton everywhere. Does it's size make it uncomfortable for you to play? I use benson picking and wonder if the size would make a problem.

Thank you for checking in! Yes, the space for "anchoring" your picking hand might be an issue. I am not saying it is impossible though. It might take a few days to adjust. I mainly finger-picking on mine. I really like using it for recording at home. Not crazy about the clean sounds but it sounds fine with any pedals added to it.
