It is kinda interesting because in the video you said the Estimated Sales total of the top 10 listings on Amazon should be at least 3000 or more. Well, that product that I found does have 3000+ sales in total with the top 10 listings(but only because, one of them has 3000+ sales alone otherwise there would be only about 2700 sales) but when I move to page 2 or click on one of these products and click on the same product by another seller at the bottom of the listing(where sponsored ads are). There are actually other sellers with more sales than the ones which are at the top 10 on the first page. And they are not one of the top 10 on the first page sometimes not even on page 2 but still have more sales than listings on page 1 and 2. What am I now supposed to think of it? Another question I have is that one of the top 10 listings has 3000+ estimated sales alone(as already said) while the other ones on the first page have 200 < sales < 800. When I used a tool that shows me the keywords I found out that this exact listing with 3000+ sales has a certain keyword which has a search volume of 5400 while the others not. And if I search for that keyword then I get different results than the actual product that I am searching except that this item I am talking about is with them under that keyword with 5400 search volume at page 1 under the top 10. And the same product(different seller) one time again at page 2 under top 10 and one time again at page 3(different seller). What does that mean now? Does this product have now High Demand? Since using the right keywords seems to generate a lot of sales for that listing? And here comes another question related to keywords. When defining what a High Demand product is, should you be aware of using the right keywords? I mean like now I identified that the product that I found has less than 3000 estimated sales total under the top 10 listings(without the listing that has 3000+ sales alone). But when paging across I find the exact same product from other sellers but with higher sales than the top 10 which would generate 3000+ estimated sales total, when they would be under the top 10 listings(even without the product that has 3000+ sales alone(still with low competition)). + I found out that with using the right keyword, this product has with one listing alone 3000+ sales with under 100 reviews. So is that still not a high demand product or is that a high demand product? And should I take these steps like paging across in consideration to know if it is a high demand product or should I just look at the top 10 on the first page no matter what? There comes another question. When I am doing product research with product research tools like looking how a certain product is ranking for certain keywords. Can't I just create a manual PPC campaign based on the exact same keywords which perform best for the competitive product? Rather than doing an automatic PPC? Sorry for that huge amount of text but I need the answer to these questions because they seem really crucial to me to find a high demand with low competition product
Pete Coulis Have you seen success and reasonable profits since attending ASM? Also, do they do anything unique or specific that relates to your individual needs as a seller? Last, Do they go into 1-on-1 mentoring and coaching?
To me, spending thousands on any course is no way to start a business. The only way I'd ever take one of these mutlithousand dollar courses is if I already established a million dollar business and the 4k becomes a drop in the bucket. For now, save your money for inventory, fulfilmemt and PPC.
Honestly, I learned enough just by reading the stories of others in how they sold on Amazon. But from there, you are on your own. Not that it's bad or anything
This is by far the most comprehensive single video training on Amazon business tutorial. No fluff,no beating around the bush but solid indepth training. Thanks for holding nothing back but showing exactly how it is done. This is way better than a lot of paid courses out there that charge you an arm and a leg and give you a lot of videos with watered down training to make it look worthwhile. This is just plain awesome.
Thank you Jungle Scout Team for this. This is a very unselfish way of teaching newbies like me on how to set up an Amazon business properly. You guys are amazing. You published so many helpful educational videos without even asking money in return. More blessings to your team. Thanks again guys. :D
I know, but there are so many people making videos that are blatantly asking for money at the end of their pitch. I know other people that won't share educational videos like this in public unless you purchase their product first.
All of the information that they present is already available free on TH-cam. There is nothing new in this video and some of the information is outdated and/or misleading.
Thanks for stopping by Philip, appreciate the feedback and we actually just published this yesterday and so all the content is up to date! This video is meant for someone just starting out and to show them clearly and concisely the world of selling on Amazon! Where did you discover selling on Amazon? Happy #JungleScouting
I wish i saw this video before purchasing courses that still didnt teach me as much as this video has. You guys are so helpful and FREE. if you are thinking about purchasing these amazon "gurus" courses dont just watch these videos they provide.
So glad you found the video helpful Jazmin! 😀 If you are looking for more free content to help you on your #PrivateLabel journey, make sure you visit the #JungleScout University! → jnglsct.com/university 📖 Have you found a product yet? 🗯️
I have, for the past couple of days, been pulling my hair out trying to understand the process of Amazon and scouting private label products to sell. This video has explained in detail what the process is! Thank you so much for making this!
I'm still very new to the idea of doing business through Amazon FBA. This video is by far the most useful source of information I have come across so far. Thank you very much!
This has been the best training video I have watched. I have spent a little $$$ on other training and spent the last few days banging my head against the wall. I spent the first 7 minutes on your video and then found 34 potential items. Just as thanks, I went ahead an bought the pro extension of Jungle Scout. About to sign up for the App as well because the limited trial for the Niche Hunter helped me lock down another potential item in seconds. I'm going through the learning academy videos as we speak. Anyways wanted to say thank you for the great content. Best I have found and will be a lifelong customer. I will be sending you plenty of referrals. Thank you!
this is by far the best free course I have ever seen. What a genius marketing strategy to promote your own product, the more people in the FBA business the more people will buy Jungle Scout.
Thanks so much for watching. We're glad you liked the video! ✨ We have a ton of similar resources so make sure you subscribe to our channel and visit the Jungle Scout University 📚 → www.junglescout.com/amazon-product-research-resources/ Do you #SellonAmazon ? 🤔
This video was very helpful, I don't think you guys missed anything out! The whole opportunity has me very excited, I can't wait to get started. Just need to find that magic product!!
I'm currently sourcing in China for my first two products, and getting a trademark organised. Making lots of progress! There's a lot of hurdles to jump over so for anybody starting out I would recommend a subscription to Amazing Selling Machine. They teach you everything! Jungle scout web app has also been a huge help
Things are going well thanks, I submitted a trademark application and I'm now starting to plan my product listing. My first sample has been made and I'm now perfecting that, got some other potential products in the pipeline too. My advice to people: come up with a brand first that you can really get behind and are passionate about - everything else will come next!
such an amazing video . Thank you , Greg and all the jungle scout team members to help us learn most effective way . Thanks for all the hard work you guys are doing for us .
I was considering buying the Tanner J Fox FBA training course, which I heard cost about $1k. However, I come here to Jungle Scout and I think it's TH-cam video covers off on the essentials. Great guide for a beginner like me.
Your chrome extension is absolutely necessary to find the best products. I'd recommend to do the 999 method to verify the sales of a product before sourcing your product though.
Hello, how did you find your first product? I`m starting and I bought Jungle Scout app, but I am having a hard time finding my product... I was wondering if you could share a little about your experience even through email. Thank you.
Hey Jessica! I made a quick video about it here: th-cam.com/video/TEZ-eZRGdaw/w-d-xo.html. Hope it helps. Let me know if you have any questions after that.
wow Jungle Scout you are amazing. I never watched an Amazon FBA video in full as it always seemed they were selling a course. This is great info and really giving me the inspiration to start!

great info and very practical i sell on amazon as well and have a growing private label company in food and we are approaching our 100 item in fba thanks for the info
Greetings, everyone. I just wanted to make you aware of a great coaching program aimed at boosting your Amazon sales by Mr. SETH KNIEP. This program trains sellers by using highly effective techniques, covering all aspects of running an Amazon business, within a community of like-minded and enthusiastic entrepreneurs. Please see more here members.justonedime.com/amazon/growth?ref=121
Hi! I'd like to see a step by step of how you place your first order. Everything from contacting 5-10 manufacturers, narrowing it down to top 1-3, negotiating, figuring out shipping method, how many units to purchase for your FIRST order, etc.
Really good overview for a good product. People should however realize that even if you find matches in JS, the first ones are likely to be found by others using JS and following vids on how to do this. Those who seem to be successful FBA sellers (e.g. Matt Loberstein, Kevin David, others) emphasize it takes time (days, weeks, NOT "minutes") to really find the first product that will be successful and there may be launches that fail. Also you are an entrepreneur building a business, which is NOT the same thing as "getting rich quick." TH-cam videos are another source of revenue for many FBA sellers & they all will use "clickbait" titles. They're not lies, usually. Just not exactly what you think. Making a million dollars, for instance--that mostly goes back into growing your business. There are fees, taxes, losses for stuff that gets damaged or fails, people you hire for services, etc... You're still running a great profitable business but if you think you will clear $million NET PROFIT this year and buy that Porsche I would think again and don't get discouraged--push through and think LONG TERM!
The best info out there, I've been selling on Amazon for a while and now getting started in P/L, I will be purchasing your programs shortly, with the chrome extension, I feel very confident buying into your company just by the way you freely give so much great content online, (I'm guessing you also have great customer support also) can't wait to get started with this new venture, thank you
Awesome video! I do have one question that I can't seem to find the answer for and maybe somebody can help me out. When contacting the supplier, they always ask for shipping address for shipping costs. It appears that in order to give them the address you first have to add a product and create everything for this product and then it will give you the address for the supplier to ship to. So my question is, is there a way to get an accurate shipping quote without having to set everything up first? If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it!!
Where you'll be shipping your goods depends on where does Amazon want you to ship your products. To be honest, with our #MillionDollarCaseStudies we've mostly used a freight forwarder as direct shipping services are often more expensive. 📦 Check out our Crash Course on International Freight for #AmazonFBA → www.junglescout.com/blog/international-freight-for-amazon-fba/
Fantastic! 🤩 Thanks for watching and subscribing! Are you just starting your #Amazon journey? Love to hear how things go! And stay tuned for some more awesome content! ✨
Hi JS, Thank you so much for the information. So many questions are answered now. The only thing that doesn't seems clear to me is why people are willing to share this valuable information with the rest of the world, since this creates only more competition for them.
I am very confident in starting this amazon business as a seller. I honestly have no doubt that i wont succeed because i have alot of ideas, im very creative, and ive done TONS of research/took notes. But, my point in doing this is to actually make a profit off of this and NOT lose more money than i make. Is $500-$1500 enough to actually start and possibly become successful? I would like to get all of the tools that i personally might need. I just don't know where to start and i want as much knowledge on the possible expenses that i will have to come out of pocket monthly before i actually start making a profit. For instance, I've done research and i know for sure i will be purchasing the payability so i can get paid faster.. Will that help? What is your advise on making a profit and is it a guarantee that i will actually make a profit as a beginner? Also what are the possible/common mistakes and obstacles i may face that will affect my income badly? I just cant afford to lose any money trying to start this business. It would just defeat the whole purpose of me starting it which is to increase my financial income.
A very common question is definitely how much money is needed to start selling on Amazon, DeShay. We covered this on the following video! → 🎬 th-cam.com/video/2UfyHJwMLPg/w-d-xo.html Hopefully, this will give you a better picture on start-up costs 😉
Great video...very insightful this was just what I needed. I learned more in from the first 23 minutes of this video than I have in weeks of research TBH... Thank you so much!!!
So glad you found the video helpful Hector! 🎊 Sharing great free content to help all #FreedomBuilders out there is what we do! 😎 Where are you on your Amazon journey?
1) How long has the process really taken you from start to finish? (Start i mean when you pay the manufacturer to make the full order, and finish i mean when you sold out every single unit). *without taking into consideration product research and market analysis). 2) What has been your average net margin from your products? 3) How many times have you reinvested your gains? in what period of time? 4) What percentage of Sales actually becomes net gain?
Good video although my first experience was horrible. Amazon overcharged me $250 for "oversized storage" and disposal fees (tossing a returned makeup bag in the trash). They also charge unbelievable fees for FBA processing and simply withdraw whatever amount they want directly from your bank account. BE VERY CAREFUL! Amazon is great for the buyer but terrible for the seller. This experiment cast me over $1000.
boom crazy question. let's say i'm currently dropshopping a BRANDED product on shopify. I currently instruct my supplier to take the packaging off, so when my customers receive it, they don't know it's actually the other brand's product. I have created my own brand name and custom content for my dropshipping site, so it has the illusion of looking branded at point of purchase. Could i legally do this same process with selling on Amazon? Basically just sell a name brand product at cheaper, but sell it under my "off brand" seller account, and have no trace of branding to the original product when my customer receives it?
Half way through this, and still going, but I'll ask this question before I forget...can you recommend a website / company for liability insurance for Aussies selling into the U.S? Does it need to be Australian or American? Thanks!
Leigh Burke You might want send your question to Greg Mercer during his next AMA on Fridays. He normally asks a variety of questions. He takes questions posted on TH-cam and Facebook. Just go to the last AMA posted on TH-cam and find out what time the next one will be. The AMAs are very helpful.
Hello Leigh Burke My name is Eduardo I want to ask you if any one replay to your question before about insurance selling into the U.S? Thanks for your time.
Thank you for providing this guide. It can certainly help anyone to see and hear an overview of the process, and there are many "tools" mentioned that can save time.
Do we need to have a wholesale license to start purchasing from Alibaba? Also -- did you guys have to register as a business before doing all of this or can you just re-sell without having to go through all of that?
Nope, you can buy products even though you don't own a company. 😉 You can sell on Amazon as a sole proprietor but this model doesn't offer any legal protection. Check out our Tax and Legal Structure article, part of the #MillionDollarCaseStudy → www.junglescout.com/blog/tax-legal-structure-for-amazon-sellers/
Excellent presentation but what is missing is: when and how to take photos of the product. Should I get a sample of the final product with packaging and take photos before launching on Amazon? Any suggestion on this issue. I couldn't find it anywhere.
Thank you so much for this video. You have put everything together in such a simple way. I have been looking for answers for days and I am so glad I came across your video!
Would you recommend starting a new bank account to make these purchases with? I'm assuming doing a wire transfer from my main personal bank account isn't the best idea? If I purchase through Alibaba am I able to use a credit card then? Thank you
It would be best practice to transfer out of a bank account, however, not required and I know a lot of people just purchase with their personal bank account. You are able to use a credit card if you can pay with Alibaba trade insurance (recommended) or if they accept PayPal (most don't for the full order).
Sure. I think Jason was probably asking about a CC because that way you could charge it now and wait for some sales to come in before you had to pay the bill.
Carol Marra it’s like an escrow service. When you find a supplier that you wish to use and they accept “trade assurance” you will send the money directly to Alibaba not the supplier. Alibaba holds the money and will only pay the supplier when you confirm that the goods are correct and don’t have any defects or any other issues.
nice video! for my business I started to find suppliers from Matchory. do you know about it? I think it's very really powerful about finding what you want.
Just some additional info. It depends on the country. For ex. in France you need to register as at least an individual entreprenneur and pay taxes. Anyone doing FBA in France? Woud love to hear from you. I am thinking of starting this from France, my country
May I ask you one more question. I'm selling wall calendars on Amazon. What is the best way to pick right key words for the Engine Search Optimization? My calendar pops up only in a few places, however some of my competitors' calendars pop out everywhere, under any categories of calendar and even under the books category. How do they do it? Is there are any special way to pick the key words? Thx.
I'm a bit confused Jungle Scout, I thought you were not supposed to put the suppliers adress when creating a new shipping plan? 19:00 I am pretty sure in the latest MDCS in UK greg said you are supposed to put a U.S address when doing the creating new shipping plan part.
We believe in empowering entrepreneurs ⚡️Thanks for your kind words! 🧡Be sure to sign up for our BRAND NEW #MDCS Dropping next week! jnglsct.com/MDCSsignup
Wow, this was waaay more informative and then amazon university! So just to be clear, you ONLY need to purchase a UPC code to enter your product on amazon and to get your FNSKU#? And it is the FNSKU# that amazon wants stuck to every product in the boxes and NOT the UPC codes, right?!
So glad the video helped Aly! ✨ So yes → first UPC/GTIN → then FNSKU → then print that on the package. However, you just need the FNSKU if you plan on selling on Amazon exclusively, otherwise, you'll need that UPC on your package as well. And consider investing on a GS1 barcode as it does seem that Amazon has finally started enforcing the rule that you must have a legitimate GS1 barcode, registered against your business. #AmazonFBA 🔥
OMG your a legend I watched numerous videos but they didn’t really gave me much info but this one was like omg gave me everything thanks mate have a good one
I am! ....in need of an Angel investor i think lol. ...or maybe just a consultant or possible co-partner to navigate all my ideas and specifical questions to those.
This is the best video on selling on Amazon that I have seen to date. Thanks, I really appreciate it. Once one's business is setup and running, should I register as a business in the U.S. as a sole proprietor?
Thank you very much for the great video! May I ask you several questions. At 31:14 mins of your video, you were talking about PPC by automatic bitting and generating key words. How can I print out a report? Can a person with Individual account do it? Is there a link somewhere where you'd talk more about it?
Right after you began to say you needed a UPC barcode, then went to inventory, manage inventory, click print item label. then fnsku barcode. you then go to say this is the only bacrode you need to have on your product for amazon. Just a little confused which barcode do you need?
If you only intend on selling on #Amazon, you can use the FNSKU only as this is Amazon's identifier. If you plan on selling elsewhere, you'll need to have the UPC as well as that is the global identifier barcode. Does this make sense? 🤓
first really very excellent video given unselfishly. thanks. there are something i have to clear in my mind; one is barcoding. How can i get detailed info about FNSKU and UPC. The other is how is the cooperation with Amazon if my products reach them or is there any possibilty of rejection of items. Where can we find Terms for the products. How can we check if they are suitable items to be sold in Amazon.
Hi I have one question why do you need labels.?. do you need to put them on package or is it a PDF file you mean..?.and please I wanna know how do you ship the product the you bought from the supplier to Amazon..and thank you very much for the information in the video you are the best!
Glad you liked the video! 🎬 You need a barcode (UPC/EAN/GTIN) in order to create your product listing and get the FNSKU. That FNSKU label is what you need printed on your package to be able to sell on #AmazonFBA 😉As for shipping, you ned to create a shipping plan. Make sure you read our Crash Course: on International Freight for #AmazonFBA → www.junglescout.com/blog/international-freight-for-amazon-fba/
Hey Core! We do have some great blogs about shipping. In case you haven't read them already, here are those links 😊 The Secrets of Importing Your Amazon Product How to Ship Your Amazon Product Via Ocean Freight International Freight for Amazon FBA Something else I would recommend is checking out the following Amazon pages. Shipping has so many steps and Amazon has great information about the entire process: FBA inventory: Send Inventory to Amazon Shipping Products to FBA How to Create a Shipping Plan Request Add inventory to your shipping plan Hope these help! ⚡️
Awesome video. Lots of great information. Thank you for creating and sharing. Funny how you can easily find detailed and professional instructions about FBA from everyone else other than Amazon.
Thanks for watching #FreedomBuilder ! 🎉 Where are you in your Private Label journey? Make sure you check out our free resources section at junglescout.com! 🤓
Amazon is expected to open in Australia soon. Will there be any change in these steps or is it the same method? For instance, when choosing a product, do we still use the main amazon site for product research?
Not quite grasping one task, that's printing box labels. Is this just for the actual boxes that contain whatever I've ordered from the supplier and to be shipped to Amazon? If so, then if my order has 500 boxes to be shipped, do I literally print 500 labels and mail to the supplier? Or, do I print a single label and send to the supplier for them to reproduce as many as needed for the boxes? Thanks for such a helpful and encouraging video.
Great video. Do you think you could revive the ranking in the algorithm for a moderately successful product that is languishing on page 5? or once it's there you've lost the opportunity?
Great Video :). I have a question. if you create a product selection that contain multiple ASIN numbers (let's say 3 ASIN #). How can you create the promotion on JumpSend that will cover the product selection that was created on Amazon seller page?
Im trying to get shipping quotes from a supplier, however I dont exactly know where my product will be sent within the US. Im just wondering how do you get shipping quotes? Do you have to create your listing/shipping plan in order to get a quote for shipping? Or how do you reccomend getting a quote? Thanks
It can be tricky Jonathan! That's why we usually go with a freight forwarder. 📦 Make sure you read our Crash Course: on International Freight for #AmazonFBA → www.junglescout.com/blog/international-freight-for-amazon-fba/
Hi Guys great video thank you for all the fantastic content! I have a question, the fnsku code from amazon, does that have to go on every single item that is sold via amazon? My supplier is telling me that code only has to go on the box (the box they referring to contains 500 units of my product). So in effect they telling me not each unit has to have this fnsku code, only the box the products are delivered in. This doesn't sound right to me so just wanted to check with you guys. Thanks in advance.
Hey Scott! Your instincts are right - every individual item has to have the FNSKU barcode on them. Amazon won't accept it otherwise. For your cartons that you ship in, they just need the shipping label, but definitely put the FNSKU on each product! I hope this helps! :)
During the product research, when you say find the "top 10 under the product" - is that referring to the first 10 items that pop when you do the search? Or do I need to organize the listings in a certain way? Thanks!
To build an initial fund to eventually be able to buy products from a supplier, are you able to provide steps for simply using affiliate links to products already selling on Amazon that I could add to my blog and TH-cam channel? As I write a sensual scenario for my writing's channel and blog, I could add an affiliate link to a product that I mention in my writing. Thanks many times over for the reply.
Hi Joe! So, if you are selling FBA going with the default "manufacturer barcode" this will allow you to use the FBA Label Service for a per-item fee. If you change this default, it will allow you to print and apply Amazon barcodes yourself. You can learn more about applying your own barcodes here: th-cam.com/video/jf0ru6AzaYA/w-d-xo.html
Should I send the UPC barcode to my alibaba seller to have it printed on the package? Please, can you clarify this part? It will be highly appreciated. Thank you so much
Hi Helen! 😀 What you actually need to be printed on your package is the FNSKU and, to get that, first, you'll need a UPC. Then, you'll be able to print those labels to send to your manufacturer or you could print the UPC instead and ship that "as-is" to the Amazon warehouse (they can scan the UPC and apply the FNSKU sticker for you for a small fee). 🤓
at 22:30, you mentioned Amazon offers a reshipping service to get the package from local warehouse to the Amazon Fulfillment Center. Is this service all done in Seller Central? Thanks!
Hey Pat! Yes it is done in Seller Central. When you're setting up a shipment, as long as you've got the address as coming from a US address, you'll then have the option of checking one of Amazon's reshipping services and it'll give you a quote on it etc :)
You need a barcode (UPC/GTIN/EAN) to get that FNSKU, however, if you plan on selling on Amazon only, you can just print the FNSKU on your package, not both codes. 🤓 Where are you on your #Amazon journey?
Thank you for your reply. I am starting selling soon. I have already registered a Pro seller account on Amazon and my products are on the way from China to my warehouse. I am looking at the moment for a customs broker in the USA to send my goods to so that they can forward them to Amazon, any suggestions? BTW, I am using the Jungle Scout Pro chrome extension. What a useful tool! Good job
Have we missed anything in this video? Let us know below what topics you'd like to hear more about! 🙂 Good luck and happy selling!! 😀
Jungle Scout Love the video! Please teach your robot to blink please 😂
Hey hey! How many logos will I need to send to supplier to attach to my product?
Valory Hernandez Just talk to the supplier and he will tell you how much he needs
Hassan A. Do you know what the template is for?
Funny how people have probably spent thousands on Amazon FBA courses and then comes Jungle Scout providing every detail for free
TheDukeofDan Yeah. I’m curious as to how good of a course the ASM (Amazing Selling Machine) is. I hear it’s kind of pricey.
ASM is a very thorough and complete course. It is indeed pricey though. I'm happy to help you if you have specific questions about this business.
Wow! thanks for all the kind words Carolyn! We're so happy we can help :-)
You do realize that these are sales videos to market their products?
Wow this is the first video I've seen to actually tell you HOW to research, instead of just telling you to research. So freaking helpful.
For sure the best video Ive seen out of hundreds of FBA youtube vids. Well done.
That's awesome Jason! Glad you think so! We put a lot of work into it, so are really happy that it's delivered some value for you!! :)
Thanks for the kind words Jason! Glad we could help you out! :)
Jungle Scout ,why is Amazon fba better than shopify, Thank You!!!!
..
Thank you!

This is by far the best video about FBA on TH-cam, thank you.
Thanks for the kind compliment Omar! We're glad you think so and have found it valuable! :)
this is by far the best free course I have ever seen. What a genius marketing strategy to promote your own product, the more people in the FBA business the more people will buy Jungle Scout.

Wow. This video gives ALOT of GREAT INFO unlike all the other Amazon sellers who only care about selling courses! THANKS MAN!!!👍👍
You are very welcome! 🙂 Glad the explanation worked for you! --Lenny
THIS is the sort of video I've been looking for. All the steps, all in one place, in order of importance. Thank you so much!
This video was very helpful, I don't think you guys missed anything out! The whole opportunity has me very excited, I can't wait to get started. Just need to find that magic product!!
That's great to hear George! Good luck finding your magic product!! ;)
Georgek117 did you ever get started? If so, how's it going? Thanks.
Hey man, keep us updated! We'd love to hear how you're doing after 2 months! Subbed on your channel, cheers!
Things are going well thanks, I submitted a trademark application and I'm now starting to plan my product listing. My first sample has been made and I'm now perfecting that, got some other potential products in the pipeline too. My advice to people: come up with a brand first that you can really get behind and are passionate about - everything else will come next!
Watched this video twice and wrote down everything, thanks so much for the detailed information, you literally covered everything!
OMG! This is so complicated!
Hands down the best video I have seen till date. It covers everything you need to know about Amazon.
Thanks Yousuf! 🙂 So glad the explanation worked for you! --Lenny
such an amazing video . Thank you , Greg and all the jungle scout team members to help us learn most effective way . Thanks for all the hard work you guys are doing for us .
Absolutely! I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Thanks for the shoutout Karim! 🙌 Are you selling private label on Amazon already?
Jungle Scout yep, just ordered the second product :)
Let me know if you have any questions after that.
i will review that viedo, thank you Karim Sidibe, I m from China, glad to meet you here.
wow Jungle Scout you are amazing. I never watched an Amazon FBA video in full as it always seemed they were selling a course. This is great info and really giving me the inspiration to start!

great info and very practical i sell on amazon as well and have a growing private label company in food and we are approaching our 100 item in fba thanks for the info
Anytime! Thanks for stopping by the channel :)
what do you mean by 100 item, as in you've sold 100 things or you have 100 DIFFERENT products?

Simply the BEST video on Amazon FBA out there! Great work Jungle Scout, please make more elaborate videos on specific steps. Thank you!
Every amazonfba youtuber’s paid course in one free video. Thanks jungle Scout!
Finally a video explaining the actual way to start this business
Thank you for this informative video. You got straight to the point, outlining the key points whilst keeping me engaged. I've just subscribed also 😊
The best time spent on any video until now!
Great video...very insightful this was just what I needed. I learned more in from the first 23 minutes of this video than I have in weeks of research TBH... Thank you so much!!!
Wow! Huge compliment, thanks so much!
Same here I'm like ready to start now lol
Junglescout is an essential tool I use when finding the next 50k plus products, don't list anything new without it!
Thank you so much! You sound authentic and honest. Those are great values. I hate scammers, people who take advantage of others.
Great feedback thanks for TUNING in ✨!!!
boom crazy question. let's say i'm currently dropshopping a BRANDED product on shopify.
Doesn't sound like something Amazon would allow. Better play by the rules 😉
Half way through this, and still going, but I'll ask this question before I forget...can you recommend a website / company for liability insurance for Aussies selling into the U.S? Does it need to be Australian or American? Thanks!
Any recommendations @jungle Scout?
Fantastic Roy! So glad you found the video helpful and the tools we mentioned! :D Best of luck on your own Amazon journey Roy!
Me and my friend are 13 do you think we can do this
How much is a good budget to start out with? I dont wanna go over board but i dont wanna spend too little.
Uffff such a great video!!! Covering so much ! Thank u
Our pleasure Carole! Glad it's helped you! :)
Thank you so much for this video. You have put everything together in such a simple way. I have been looking for answers for days and I am so glad I came across your video!
WOW we really appreciate the feedback 🤗
Would you recommend starting a new bank account to make these purchases with? I'm assuming doing a wire transfer from my main personal bank account isn't the best idea? If I purchase through Alibaba am I able to use a credit card then? Thank you
It would be best practice to transfer out of a bank account, however, not required and I know a lot of people just purchase with their personal bank account. You are able to use a credit card if you can pay with Alibaba trade insurance (recommended) or if they accept PayPal (most don't for the full order).
Does a Debit card work the same as a credit card?
Sure. I think Jason was probably asking about a CC because that way you could charge it now and wait for some sales to come in before you had to pay the bill.
What is alibaba trade insurance?
Carol Marra it’s like an escrow service. When you find a supplier that you wish to use and they accept “trade assurance” you will send the money directly to Alibaba not the supplier. Alibaba holds the money and will only pay the supplier when you confirm that the goods are correct and don’t have any defects or any other issues.
It is the best and most simple video I have seen so far too. Excellent!
nice video! for my business I started to find suppliers from Matchory. do you know about it? I think it's very really powerful about finding what you want.
hey I know 7am. I use it to find suppliers from China
I am the 489 person writing, hope you get this: YOU ARE A MA Z I N G!!!
THANK YOU!!!!
Do you actually need to be a business to start doing this?
No you do not thanks for tuning in :D
Just some additional info. It depends on the country. For ex. in France you need to register as at least an individual entreprenneur and pay taxes.
Anyone doing FBA in France? Woud love to hear from you.
I am thinking of starting this from France, my country
May I ask you one more question. I'm selling wall calendars on Amazon. What is the best way to pick right key words for the Engine Search Optimization? My calendar pops up only in a few places, however some of my competitors' calendars pop out everywhere, under any categories of calendar and even under the books category. How do they do it? Is there are any special way to pick the key words? Thx.
his ears wiggle af
I'm a bit confused Jungle Scout, I thought you were not supposed to put the suppliers adress when creating a new shipping plan? 19:00 I am pretty sure in the latest MDCS in UK greg said you are supposed to put a U.S address when doing the creating new shipping plan part.
You have the smallest hands I've ever seen on an adult male. Great video though👍

#AmazonFBA 🔥
one of the best instructional videos i have seen. thank you.
Thanks so much, Paul! 😀 Glad you enjoyed the content! --Lenny
OMG your a legend I watched numerous videos but they didn’t really gave me much info but this one was like omg gave me everything thanks mate have a good one
I'm so glad this video gave you a lot of value! :) - Lenny
amazing video, I added this to my favourites to come back to it later on when i start my business. :)
Q was wondering ,after you get your product from the supplier to Amazon, who does the pricing ,Amazon or you (Private-Label) ?
The price is totally down to you! 💲 Any other #AmazonFBA questions? 🗯️
"Thank-You!'' simply says it all.
Thank YOU for watching our tutorial! 👏🏻 Are you just starting your #Amazon journey? 💭 Keep us posted! 😀
I am! ....in need of an Angel investor i think lol. ...or maybe just a consultant or possible co-partner to navigate all my ideas and specifical questions to those.
Wow that was amazing. I have learned more from this video than all others combined!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!
That's awesome! Glad the explanation worked for you! 🙂 Are you selling or thinking about selling? -Lenny
Wow!
Wonderful and most detailed video which is a MUST WATCH by all who are wanting to start on Amazon as a SELLER.
Cheers and way to Go!
:)
Thanks for the lovely feedback! 😍 Are you selling on #Amazon? 🗯️
Hello Lenny, No! I am not selling currently. But surely we will be seeking ur advice and more. Cheers and make it a great weekend ahead. Raj :)
Great video! Thank you! When should we ask about shipping estimate and is there any template how to negotiate shipping charges? thanks
Ask as the same time that you ask for the final price :D Did you launch your product?!
Another good question to ask potential suppliers is can they do packaging to Amazon standards.
Thanks for adding to the conversation Adrian! Any other valuable tips? 🤓 #AmazonSeller
This is exactly what I needed! Thanks heaps Lenny, I am very positive and grateful that with your help my initial product will be highly successful!
Thanks for the feedback Dylan! Glad our video could play a part in getting you started! All the very best of luck! :) -Lenny
yes! thank you very much. great detailed video otherwise
first really very excellent video given unselfishly. thanks. there are something i have to clear in my mind; one is barcoding. How can i get detailed info about FNSKU and UPC. The other is how is the cooperation with Amazon if my products reach them or is there any possibilty of rejection of items. Where can we find Terms for the products. How can we check if they are suitable items to be sold in Amazon.
Probably the best tutorial video on youtube.
Thank you for sharing. I was following one company and they didn’t share all that you guys are sharing and their video was just as long.
So glad you found the video useful Shana! ✨ Have you found a product to #PrivateLabel ? 🗯️
Jungle Scout I think I have
Hi I have one question why do you need labels.?. do you need to put them on package or is it a PDF file you mean..?.and please I wanna know how do you ship the product the you bought from the supplier to Amazon..and thank you very much for the information in the video you are the best!
You’re a godsend. Thanks bro. Can’t afford your program, but I’ll try my best to invest in a good product.
Great Information. I will start the production of my first business with Amazon this week. Thank you
Great training, I have a simple question, you jumped into the shipping but I can't find where I can create a new shipping plan?
Hey Core!
We do have some great blogs about shipping. In case you haven't read them already, here are those links 😊
The Secrets of Importing Your Amazon Product
How to Ship Your Amazon Product Via Ocean Freight
International Freight for Amazon FBA
Something else I would recommend is checking out the following Amazon pages. Shipping has so many steps and Amazon has great information about the entire process:
FBA inventory: Send Inventory to Amazon
Shipping Products to FBA
How to Create a Shipping Plan Request
Add inventory to your shipping plan
Hope these help!
For instance, when choosing a product, do we still use the main amazon site for product research?
are you trying to private label or sell brand name products?
Sell brand name products, initially.
perfect! make sure you are working with authorized suppliers, if you are not sure how to do that, I would advise checking out my channel
This has been the best training video I have watched.
Thanks for such a helpful and encouraging video.
you would print of 500 box labels if theres 500 boxes
Like Beau was kind enough to point out, you need a FNSKU label for each product sent to Amazon. How's your #PrivateLabel journey going so far?
15:15 where is the link to the video that explains bar code issue in more detail??
Great video. Do you think you could revive the ranking in the algorithm for a moderately successful product that is languishing on page 5? or once it's there you've lost the opportunity?
This is the type of video people are looking for when they type in "How to..." PERFECT TUTORIAL with no cliffhangers or BS!! Thanks!
Thanks so much for the lovely feedback Jalen! 😀 Are you an #AmazonSeller ?
Great Video :).
I have a question. if you create a product selection that contain multiple ASIN numbers (let's say 3 ASIN #). How can you create the promotion on JumpSend that will cover the product selection that was created on Amazon seller page?
It's raining gold nuggets here! 💰💰💰 Thank you so much for all this helpful information!!!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Nice one Courtney! 🤩 Hope this info helps you on your #AmazonSeller journey! 🙌🏼
We have just the thing Rob! 🙂 → How To Build A Business With Amazon’s Affiliate Program 📚 www.junglescout.com/blog/amazon-affiliate-program/
Hi, do you select amazon barcode or manufacturer barcode in the settings in seller central? By default it is on manufacturer barcode
Hi, great video!! Why is it that only Chrome can be used? Why not with Safari or Mozilla? Any plans to develop it? Thanks
at 22:30, you mentioned Amazon offers a reshipping service to get the package from local warehouse to the Amazon Fulfillment Center.
Thank you for the amazing video. I have a question. Is it necessary to use UPC barcodes? Can I use the Amazon label barcode only?
Good job
Fantastic Video! This answered all of my questions! I will be watching this one a lot!
