Oh hell yeah!! As a 46 year old woman who hates to work out, my husband has drilled into me the value of consistency. I have complained 3 times a week for two years how I hate working out. I will never be someone who enjoyes working out but I enjoy the benefits of being able to walk for miles on my vacations, or carrying my 7 year old thanks to barbell training!
exactly the video I needed!! I've been only going once a week for the past month after a year of 3-5 per week. Not sure why I lost motivation, but glad to have these tools.
Wow I 100% needed to see this!!. I slacked off hard in June due to switching to a new job and trying to find my new routine. This definitely has me hype about getting back into the swing of things next week!! Thank You!! #Consistency
now i feel better knowing that is didnt feel to do legs yesterday but i didnt waste time..still did something and going to finish them off today!! good tips my brother
Retired now, but when I was working shoot-loads of overtime, I couldn't mentally face the thought of another hour to work out. With 20/20 hindsight, what I could have done was go in and do one thing. 10 minutes and get out. It's not all or nothing. My 2 cents.
I needed this, I am *so* inconsistent. Sometimes I train at noon, sometimes at 2, sometimes 2:10, sometimes 3 or 3:07! I am such a loser, please help!😢
Consistent for the last 30 years it’s like brushing my teeth. I enjoy it the gym 3-4 days a week but exercise everyday . It’s really not hard and I’m in as good as shape if not better at age 50 than 20
What is wrong with watching youtube while waiting for the next set? That is what I am doing right now... in fact I like to chill and mix my relax time with my training (in my home gym).
@@Cormac-jd2kx if you're doing real hard sets, you'll need up to 3 to 5 minutes to recover. In between, you can use your phone. Top powerlifters do it, stop crying lol
I bought home gym equipment from a used sports equipment store because I will let any excuse derail my time. Now the gym is in my basement. No more excuses
On the overhead press please. Maybe a series which breaks it down into the grip, the unrack, the hip thrust, the actual press etc. It's an extremely technical lift, with so many moving parts. I just can't make any progress. Thanks Grant.

Yep!

0:40 to 1:10 can all be explored under the umbrella of consistency

Enjoy what you're doing, that's it.

If it doesn’t interfere w your workout then it’s not a problem but for many it is
If it doesn’t interfere with your exercising (you are not training obviously) it means your doing bs exercise 😂
@@Cormac-jd2kx horrible take.
@@Jdm5299I know. People that carry their mobiles while exercising should be kicked out for clowning

Was about to pause the video and go play video games.. Then I saw the 299 likes and realised this is a sign.
6. Strength Co challenge:
No phone or tablet in gym for a month.

But how will I film my lifts?
Thanks 😊
For the algorithm
Hi Grant, More instructional videos please. Thanks
on what topics?

I am consistent because of a girl, i like her ❤
🤌🏼
Coach Grant gives me Tim Robinson vibes.
Sounds like Trump is asking for lifting advice
So many gestures...so little time.
