- In part 18 of the Old Crow build I finish up a bunch of little things that all get stuffed under the bed. I also try my hand at some patina and things don't go so well!

Yo Tony!!! Man, she's lookin' pretty badass! For the 5th wheel, I'm thinkin' a rusty cage, with a gnarly looking rat trike with 50s on the assend, long springer front forks, bagged with the same type of suspension as Old Crow. It would definately be a real head turner!

Build a half scale replica of the truck to go on the trailer that you can then drive the mini old crow around the shows whilst there.

I use real patina sauce, I mean real, it's so saucy,so so so much sauce. In a spray bottle mix 8 parts hydrogen peroxide, 2 parts whit vinegar and around a tablespoon of table salt. Let the salt dissolve while you shake it around for a few minutes,then spray on bare metal for REAL RUST. I will paint areas that dont get rust while allowing other areas to remain bare between paint passes so the patina sauce gets right up to the edges of the paint in a very natural way. Enjoy the magic.
Right on! That way works for sure! I like distilled water and table salt but I'm always trying to learn new ways to do things. So I'll waste some more paint and see if I can figure it out LOL

Dang Tony you amaze me with your design and fabrication skills! That thing is looking good. You could just do the sun faded weather beaten paint job and just do all the complete metal work which is excellent! Hope the covid thing is on its way out.

You know it seems like everybody that's building rat rods and custom cars/trucks these days are bagging and slamming them so for the trailer how about building an old school rat rod gasser 💪👍

I just a 2011 chevy crew cab 4x4. I want to get me so train horns for mine.
I'm no expert but having the battery next to the ful tank kind of dangerous if there's a gas leak
It's pretty common place to have them next to each other in drag cars. I've never hear of it being an issue even sealed in the trunk of a car.
