We need an 8-10-12 rules. Presidents get max 8 years (2 terms), representatives get max 10 years (5 terms), and senators get max 12 years (2 terms). Allows enough time for the politicians to make an impact but not enough time to turn it into a lifelong career.

Incumbents have such an advantage both during the nomination process and the general election that it becomes easy to turn 10 years in office into 30 or even 40.
We need politicians focused on the job at hand rather than the next election.

We could - in theory if the electorate decided - have a completely new House and a third of the Senate every two years and politicians back then served MUCH fewer terms. The entire concept of a politician going to Washington and staying there for several decades is a pretty new concept that was EXTREMELY rare prior to the 20th century.
Yet, so politicians in the 18th and 19th century US were changed very frequently...did that lead to "laws changing every few years".
OF COURSE NOT.
Simply put, laws don't change simply because sitting politicians are replaced by new ones without even addressing the fact that districts will in most cases replace their termed candidate with a candidate with similar views.
There are plenty of reasons to oppose term limits - and there is something to be said about keeping experience in the Legislature, but calling someone "uneducated" on the subject when your rebuttal isn't very informed isn't the best look.
