Looks like you have a good amount of squat in the rear , you could use a rear spring upgrade imo. Check out Northwoods performance . They sell rear spring kits for the 19+ rav4's . Different stages to choose from . I highly recommend. I'm running the stage 2 on my 21' RAV4 . I've very happy with them .
Agree. I was carrying a fridge and 2 weeks of food, water and camping equipment for this trip, so it really sat too low at the back. I'll check out Northwoods Performance. Thanks heaps for the tip.
Hi! I’ve been looking into the Front Runner racks for our Rav4, but I’ve been curious about the proportions, the Slimline 2 seems a little short? Is this the rack you’re running? Is it the size they recommend for the RAV4, 1255mm x 1358mm? I like how it looks on your car and if it’s the same rack, I’m going to buy it!
Yes, that's the size I have, and yes this is the size they recommend. It's a pretty solid roof rack, and I can recommend it. Lots of accessories available too. I have an affiliate link with Off Road Tents (from which I would make a small commission) if you chose to buy through them. It would help to support the channel. They have a sale on at the moment, but please shop around of course! bit.ly/3OnHM9Q. Not hard to install yourself, taking maybe a couple of hours. Best of luck.
Thanks! Assuming we're talking about the same tire brand and type, my personal preference would probably be the taller option - the 235. A tiny bit more clearance... but we're only talking about 6mm. Honestly both would probably be great. But check with your tire dealer in case the rim width suits one size better than the other! Which AT tire are you considering?
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and happy new year. Stay safe on the roads.
You make very good videos! I will buy my rav 4 in May! greetings from Germany!✌️
Awesome! Thank you!

@everydayj1786 Hello! Is it a hybrid 2021 on which you installed the Northwood stage 2? What’s your honest feedback so far ? Fully Satisfied ? Thanks
Such great imagery and enjoying the drone work.
Much easier than your very impressive FPV drone flying 👍

What’s your wheel and tire combo?
Hi! Wheel rims: KMC KM708 BULLY.
Tires: Falken Wildpeak AT3W 245/65r17
Is this Australia?
Hi! Yes, it is
Is there any major maintenance or repairs you’ve had to do from off-road wear and tear or an accident?
None yet!
I gotta know, is there any cell signal in these areas? lol
Hahaha, usually no. Some of these locations are 100s of miles from any town.
@@rav4me hah I figured lol, thanks for the reply!
Thanks for watching!
Do you carry a full size spare tire and where does it fit?
I do, I carry it in the existing spare tire area, but due to the tire width the trunk/boot floor doesn't sit properly.
Nice Rav. I have 21 Hybrid xse with stock 225/60/18
What would you recommend for upsize AT tires keeping the rims stock? 235/60/18? 245/55/18? Thx

BTW, if you haven't already, check out tiresize.com/calculator/ and compare the two sizes visually.
Yes it would be the fallen wild peak at3w
