My mp3 player from middle-school/high-school is so old that a lot of songs are corrupted to 10-second spans. This song is one of the few on said mp3 player that is fully functional. And now I have a Rachie version to put onto my phone!
This reminds me that Rachie, Anthong, and Juby haven't done anything with Kuraiinu for years. I've always wondered if something happens like a fallout between them. I'm getting that feeling a lot more especially since he's not in the art.
So, the Unholy Quartet would collab regularly. In 2019, they started a podcast/live-stream and changed their branding from "Unholy Quartet" to "Yonaka Tea Time". Kuraniiu, however, had personal things going on in his life. (This may or may not have been part of why their livestream's name didn't reference a quartet, since one member of the quartet was unable to be involved.) For time-stamps, Yonaka Tea Time began at the end of January 2019. A few months later, in May 2019, Kuraiinu and Rachie collab'd on a cover of the CircusP song "Harmonics". Presumably if he left on bad terms, then he wouldn't have collab'd with Rachie after the official break-up of the Quartet.

When this song first came out, I really hated it because it first started out too real. But instead of someone reaching out, I had no one. So it just reminded me of everything that I want in my life but I didn't have. Which just brought up bad memories and made insanely jealous. But as I grew older, my view point changed and instead of making me jealous. I got inspired and decided I'm going to change myself. If no one will reach out to me, I'll reach out to them. It made me want to be like the you in this song. I also hope my friends view me the same way.

Something I imagine but could never physically do is being at a train station and a train passing, on the other side of the train is me when it was like seven or eight. It kinda helps me reflect on how far I’ve come. Then when the part at the end where there’s only the Twinkling noise is my friends showing up and my younger self smiling at the fact that I’m happy.
