I couldn't run typescript compiler and nodemon parallel. I did same thing as in the video. But my script only execute typescript compiler. There is no any error. How did you figure it out?

I got this problem too. Chatgpt saved the day.
Install concurrently as dev dependency. npm install concurrently --save-dev
Replace the start script in package.json with "concurrently \"tsc -w\" \"nodemon dist/index.js\""
