- Today I survived 200 days of hardcore minecraft in a world with nothing but ocean! That's right! No trees and no land. I have to get everything the hard way. I want food? Shipwreck. I want wood? Shipwreck and nether. Can I survive this hardcore challenge?

If you have done all the preparing and have survived over 40 hours (with sleeping) on this world, I dont think it is considered cheating if the world cant generate a stronghold. GG

And you did not cheat! You did what you had to.I hate turning cheats on in my worlds, but sometimes you have to do what you gotta do-And your 100 day series’s are so addicting lol.(this is not a long paragraph)
i feel like in the context of single player, cheating would be something meant to give you an advantage
you specifically spawned in an empty end portal frame, something that is unobtainable by every other means, you did not spawn in stronghold loot or the eyes themselves.
tldr: it aint that deep.

This. Exactly. Thank you for finding the words that I couldnt. He didn't use spawning the remaining completely unobtainable portal pieces in as a means as advancement in his challenge, as he pretty much already completed the challenge by surviving and thriving.
Well, considering as how you have an iron farm set up, you should start using iron swords for the bamboo farm so that you aren't constantly using durability on the diamond sword.
iron swords are a lot slower

i tested it and you can insta mine bamboo with wood swords as well
But he has mending on his sword so that will be an easy fix cuz it will take more time creating all of the individual iron swords everytime he goes mining the bamboo

I highly respect you spawning in the portal. You didn’t make anything easier, you made more of a challenge for yourself. You wanted to take on the dangers of the end for the sake of your viewers and I respect the heck outta that.

If you use chunkbase for the seed you can find the coordinates of the stronghold even in an ocean world, even though the eye of ender and locate doesnt work. I have tried it myself with my ocean worlds!!!
Do a 300 days, kill 6 Whithers, craft the Beacons & do a all effect emerald beacon. I guess it'd be easy with that many villagers.

awesome video , i really like watching you/your videos , your my favorite youtuber! hah and i think it's good you spawned the portal in , i know the feeling of like kinda feeling like you soiled the world , but i wouldn't consider it cheating cuz the world kinda cheated you in a way haha , but you just did what you had to , to continue the world further (another option could've been to possibly edit the world's file to allow strongholds to generate but that might be complicated , i wouldn't know how to do that hah) , but i would've done the same , but anyways good video! thank you for uploading it and can't wait for other videos maybe even a letsplay if you would wanna make something like that!
