As much as I love these videos it just makes me sad thinking about how they contribute to excessive shopping especially fast fashion. Please look into thrifting guys and be aware of the causes behind such cheap clothing!!
Thrifting is not good either. Thrift stores were initially made for people who dont have enough money to buy good quality clothing. If people who have money start buying there thrift stores will start raising their prices, and people who actually need cheap clothes won't be able to afford it
@@mayraramirez744 only about 62% of the clothing is getting sold from the thrift store so there is a massive abundance :)
@@marah5702 this is true but u have to consider what type of clothing is being bought and what isn’t. finding “nice” and quality pieces requires time and patience: you have to sort through stuff that isn’t high quality and stuff that doesn’t fit you. if people are buying all the high quality stuff (bc why would people buy the low quality stuff) you need to consider what’s left for people who need thrift and consignment stores for their budget.
however that isnt to say that u shouldnt thrift at all, just that its an issue that requires further critical thought! i dont NEED to thrift altho im by no means rich and my family is on the poorer side (shoutout for wearing pjs to school in elementary bc i didnt have proper clothes lmao) but i try to stay away from thrifting officewear/workwear, coats in winter, sturdy boots etc. if i can help it ^^

I love converse but they're so uncomfortable they walk like as if you're walking on a thin piece or cardboard. I just sold mine I just couldn't.they're cute tho. same with my nike blazer and vans, they just are not on the comfy level of air forces

But you should know that shops like shein are fast fashion stores, polluting the planet and made for very little money. This means the people making the clothes get payed very little and have the worst work conditions. Please be more aware of this.
