@@vinothkambli4771 actually this is engineering related topic... only those areas which has cracks & pits will act as anodic part and undergo corrosion by Oxidation rather than the areas of a metallic part which is smooth and well exposed to atmosphere...that's y the anodic part is taken as a pit area..becoz it has more mechanical stress which you might notice in machineries,vehicles and iron furniture where rusting is more. In order to balance the equations there is 4...and moreover the explanation is moderated for 12 standard chemistry Syllabus...that is the reason for not elaborating the explanation to what you expect.... anyway thank you so much.
