Hey! I just started to watch your video, but i checked your chapters, and I love a lot of these anime. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is my favorite show, Ranking of Kings Season 1 is one of the best things Ive watched in years. Odd Taxi as well even though you said you didnt see it yet. Code Geass is my second favorite show as well. I do have to say, and i hope you dont take it personally but i completely disagree on Attack on Titan. Its not a popular opinion, but i believe it has some of the worst writing out there and its characters, espescially Eren, are some of the worst parts. Thats my hot take sorry about that. @@amberoveranalyzes I'm glad you enjoyed Odd Taxi! My take for AOT is that the creator is a terrible writer. Season 1 had terrible pacing, and i started disliking the season during the Female Titan arc, wherd they spend 5 episodes on a single afternoon doing nothing but running through some fields and trees and eventually watching some people who literally asked for death, die horrifically. He introduced a ton of questions and ideas in season 1 that could have been interesting. Then dropped all of them but 2 in the next season, and didn't answer them until the end of season 3 and whenever the Rumbling happens in season 4. Season 2 he had an interesting concept about fighting humans with their own agenda, until you realize it was a distracting plot device meant to introduce the royal family. It is never resolved, never brought up again and had no lasting effect. And everything with the royals and origin titan was out of nowhere, made no sense, and forced a terrie narrative for the rest of the series. Season 3 introduced the real identities of the titans, but with their stated goal and the "personality" we know they and the Marlians had, none of their actions make sense. The series should have been over by episode 2 with their stated goals. It did have one of the best fight scenes though. Season 4...I refuse to watch. I know everything that happens more or less due to spoilers. I'm fine with some ham fisted and half thought out symbolism and ideology involving war, conflict and the self perpetuating cycle of hatred and death, but as soon as I saw those armbands I was done. I don't want to have a literal depiction of Nazi Germany in my anime, Thank you. As far as characters go. Simply put, Eren is a place holder. He has no real character other than the basic idea we got in the first few episodes. After that, his personality changed at the drop of a dime any time the author needed him to feel a certain way to progress his plot. We never see any gradual change. It's just BAM Eren's a chill dude now. BAM Erens is a broody nitwit now. The perfect example actually happened before the series started when he went to rescue Mikasa. What about his character in the first episode, makes you think he would be able to find those criminals, where did he get the Skills (and again, personality capable of) to viciously slaughter 2 men? I don't know about you, but in the first episode, Eren seemed like a laid back, inept teen, with a bit of a flash temper for his friends/self. Not a cold-blooded master assassin with mad tracking skills.
@@amberoveranalyzes Sorry for the extremely long response. If it was TL;DR I understand. If it seems overly harsh or aggressive, that was just me trying to make it as short as possible while covering the important bits. If you disagree, I'd love to know what about and why.
