I just love how diverse the cast is in Apex Legends. There’s a character for everyone that they can relate to and they have playstyles that everyone can enjoy.
My favorite legends are Rampart (the lady with the big turret), Ash (the robot assassin), Wattson (the electrical engineer) and Mirage (the one who deploys decoys of himself).
You should definitely check out the Stories from The Outlands videos if you want lore behind most of the characters in the game.

It is unfortunate that many of the newer characters are annoying to listen to in game. They give them really long voice lines for every little thing :/

I loved this reaction!
I also recommend watching the SFTO (Stories from the outlands). Each of them tells about the story of a legend and believe me, they are AMAZING! I recommend them!
There are also many other trailers to see, such as gameplay trailers and "Meet the legends" trailers, which in addition to making you better understand the story of each legend, make you see and understand the abilities of the legends! There is a lot to react to!

That killer robot trailer one was dope asf his names Revenant and imo has the coolest lore ever originally as a human he was Hitman but he must have died at some point so the company Hammond robotics turned him into a simulacrum (basically transferred his mind/consciousness into a robot) and this entire time he thought he was still human until this video showed us he got a piece of glass stuck in his neck and when he pulled it out his program must of failed revealing to him that he had been turned into a simulacrum which lol pissed him off… not to mention at this point in time he’s around the age of 200-300
