It is the same all over the World.
Ask any American or European, even the very educated ones, nobody will be able to tell you who invented the Cruise Missile, The Hypersonic Missile, the Rocekts that go into space the Boeng Airliners, the Air-bus Airliners. Then we have all these wonderful medicines that cure our illnesses that were incurable 100 years ago, but nobody will know who invented them. But everyone will know the names of Pop Stars, Basketball Players, Football Players, Baseball Players.
The main problem for Pakistan and all Third World countries is the rampant corruption at all levels. Until and unless the corruption is dealt with nothing will change.
Americans made the Atomic bomb with the help of German Scientists.

Salam used to sit with the scientists at Kahuta who were his students and pump them for information. The design issues revealed to Salam used to be brought up by USA. Certain Kahuta parts and equipment and blueprints were obtained by the US and used to confront Sahibzada Yaqub. When Yaqub was leaving the building he saw Salam slipping between rooms. Sorry, there are a number of witnesses of Salam hobnobbing with USA researchers and pumping hus students about Kahuta. Hoodbhoy never denied these allegations and never mentioned them.

    Choose your leaders with responsibility.
In 1965, Bhutto convinced Ayub Khan to attack India as he told that India would never strike back. Bhutto was wrong and India crossed the International border to attack Pakistan. Bhutto’s first miscalculation.
After 1971 war, within two months of the war, Bhutto ordered the development of Atomic Bomb. He famously announced that Pakistanis will eat grass but will have a nuclear bomb. His statement has become a reality. Today Pakistan has bomb but only grass to eat. The nuclear weapons are saviour if maintained responsibly but if the nation becomes rogue then the weapons become a liability and may lead to the nation’s collapse. Bhutto’s second miscalculation.
In the 70s, Bhutto changed the Pakistan studies syllabus to include derogatory concepts about Hinduism and generate religious intolerance. This was further accelerated by Zia. Bhutto’s third and most damaging miscalculation.
Benazir Bhutto in 1989 fanned anti India activities through cross border terrorism. She double crossed Rajiv Gandhi and increased terrorism in India.
All this has caused Pakistan to focus only on religion and ignore the education and economic development of its society.
Finally, Bilawal Bhutto dropped all diplomatic etiquettes to label the Indian PM Modi as the Butcher of Gujarat. At a time when Pakistan needs support from all neighbours, irrespective of its issues. Bhutto is closing the door for trade with India, the only lifeline that can help Pakistan in this difficult hour.
That’s why I say that nobody has damaged Pakistan than the Bhuttos.

    • @xXAbdulBaqiXx
      @xXAbdulBaqiXx ปีที่แล้ว

Bhutto's father Shahnawaz Bhutto raped a hindu servant and thus Bhutto was born. There was a reason why Bhutto's dead body was photographed for circumcision.

Pervez sir, bakhtiar Khilji destroyed 25 universities, 21 lac books, killed the scolars and teachers, because only one book should be studied. All other knowledge which is not holy kuraan, was to be destroyed. This mentality persists amongst the Muslims even today.

A great interview. I wanted to learn some more about Prof. Abdus Salam. After Noble he came to India in invitation. I attended his lecture, discussion and quistion & answer session. I still do not forget that event as a life time experience. He became the top man of Trieste, Italy which is the world headquarters of Theoretical Physics.

When Dr Salam won the Nobel Prize in December 1979, he issued a request to the Indian government seeking to locate his teacher Professor Anilendra Ganguly, who had taught him mathematics at the Sanatan Dharma College in Lahore.
However, following Partition, Professor Ganguly had migrated to India.
Finally, two years after winning the Nobel Prize, Dr Salam went to pay his respects to Professor Ganguly at the latter’s residence in South Kolkata on January 19, 1981.
But why did he seek Professor Ganguly?
Well, Dr Salam believed that it was him who had inculcated his passion for mathematics.
The teacher was feeble and unable to sit up and greet him when Dr Salam visited him in his house. Dr Salam took his Nobel medal and said that ‘Mr Anilendra Ganguly this medal is a result of your teaching and love of mathematics that you instilled in me,’ and he put the medal around his teachers’ neck.
It was the ultimate tribute to a teacher that went far beyond the parochial limits of religion and nation.
But this isn’t where the story ends.
According to this fascinating Twitter thread by Indian journalist Sanobar Fatma, in 1981 the University of Calcutta decided to award Dr Salam the Debaprasad Sarbadhikary Gold Medal to honour his achievements. Instead of accepting the award, Dr Salam refused and said it was his teacher who deserved it.
“The University later held at an award ceremony in an ailing Anilendranath’s South Calcutta residence in 1981, Dr Abdus Salam was present to see his revered teacher getting his due respect at last. A contented Anil babu died shortly thereafter in 1982,” read the tweet.
This was in line with the famous guru-shishya (teacher-disciple) tradition that many around the world, particularly Indians, hold dear.
It’s a real shame Dr Salam never received the same regard back home from his people except for a few students because of his faith, something which he held very dear.
Ideally, an achievement like this would be celebrated in Salam’s home country even today. Unfortunately, four decades since the Nobel Prize, Salam remains mostly forgotten in Pakistan. This is because he was from the Ahmadiyya community, an Islamic sect long persecuted by the establishment in Pakistan.
A recent must-watch documentary on Netflix titled, “Salam, The First ****** Nobel Laureate” seeks to shed light on his scientific achievements.
Even his headstone has "muslim" erased from it.
      Mindset.

@@sanjayvaidya4925 Thank you very much for sharing this inspiring story. What happened to Dr Salam is sad to say the least. Other great mimds like Dr Atif Mian etc have also been treated in the same way and as a result Pakistan is on the verge of total collapse. We learnt nothing from our past.

Abdus Salam Ji and Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy are gems of Pakistan that were never given chance to show their true potential neither they were utilised by Pakistan society. Just watch Netflix documentary Abdus Salam and note the way he was dressed to get his Nobel Prize as a proud Pakistani but what he got was tagged as non Muslim coz he was Ahmaddiya and left the country due to the riots against his community.
