its true for the most part, but he's been rapping for a few years now. nowadays you can literally learn how to rap off from observing and TH-cam videos.
Writing songs really isn't that hard it you know the language well... Freestyling is a different story and takes real practice but knowing how to make similes and alliteration will get you far rapping.
