Karakoram is part of the Himalayas

I think there are three ranges Himalaya,hundkush and korakoram and specifically a thin line that divides them at khardungla where the decend started to nubra valley that goes till baltistan where Indus met with shyok river...furthe upside there is another range called Pamir mountains
