RAJA BALRAM SINGH TEWATIA's CANOPY in BALLABHGARH an UNKNOWN MONUMENT. बल्लभगढ़ में जाट राजा बलराम सिंह तेवतिया की छतरी एक अनदेखा स्मारक।
This video is about an old monument unknown to most. I couldn't find any information about it on internet. This is the first dedicated video about this place on whole of internet (I presume). It could be called a 'First Time on TH-cam' video about this place. It is RAJA Ki CHHATRI (राजा की छतरी) or BALLU RAJA Ki CHHATRI (बल्लू राजा की छतरी) in Ballabgarh as locals call it. You may have hear of RANI KI CHATRI but not this 'Raja Ki Chhatri' as it lies in a place outside main town of Ballabgarh. The place is encroached & many changes in the structure have been done. Still the building is in good condition.
As locals call it Ballu Raja Ki Chhatri, it is evident that they are referring to Raja Balram Singh Tewatia who established Ballabhgarh town in 1739. Initially it was named BALRAMGARH after its founder Raja Balram Singh but nowadays it is called Ballabhgarh. Locals believe that the building was built by him but it would be better if research is done to establish the authenticity of their claims.
As I love exploring such places so I visited it & brought this video to you. The sole purpose of bringing this video on internet is to spread awareness about this unexplored place. As I am not an expert in this field so it is for experts to establish facts about this monument after researching about it.
