Candace, this podcast and your intent have been added to my daily prayers. With how you’ve chosen to explain what you want to do with this podcast, it is obvious you want God to be lifted on high for others to see and to receive glory due Him. I will never know what it is to achieve fame and make a living from that industry. Yet that is where you found yourself. Then you chose personal authenticity despite the fact doing so could harm the bottom dollar. I appreciate your willingness and your bravery for doing so. While you have experienced feelings of being alone out there, you kept going. Not being alone is not part of your intent. Still, us humans like company. God created us for relationship. I am experiencing your podcast in that way. An invitation into relationship with God by asking questions together and walking it all out using good tools and rightly/gently/accurately exposing that us humans sometimes drag around lots of generational/cultural stuff in our packs that could impair our ability to see God. All that stuff is important too, to understand why it’s there and why we drag it around with us and even hand it down to the next generation. Yet it is not higher than God. When we make it above God, we miss seeing Him and His unconditional love for each soul.
So, as long as I take breath and you choose to do this podcast commitment, know myself (and I’m sure many others) are praying God gives the podcast life, there is a reason for it that honors God and that you and your team would be encouraged in this endeavor.
My goal has always been to read the bible in a year. I have never accomplished that goal . Thank you for this podcast and providing tools, insight, wisdom, and encouragement. I'm excited to utilize Tara Leigh's website and the bible App to read chronologically. Keep shining for Jesus ladies! Iron sharpens iron!

I just came back from Israel for the second time! It is my very favorite vacay ever. Everything is so meaningful, beautiful, and DELICIOUS! It was a huge desire of my heart to go and God blessed me to go in 2019. Then it was my biggest desire to go with my hubby and children. So we just got back a couple weeks ago and my hubby and son were able to go! It was incredible ❤
I'm impressed by Taraleighs Theology studies and both your brainstorming and Truths of God's word in your conversations is Beautiful and Touching 🙏💛 definitely has me thinking and jotting down notes. I'm definitely getting the Bible recap by Tara now. I Love how she explained Jesus in the Old Testament it's so Touching and a Joyful conviction which makes me want to dig deeper in My Bible. 🙏❤️

I’m learning so much!! I’ve never heard before this episode that Jesus wasn’t handsome. But it makes sense. I think if he was an instant beauty it would be too easy. In all of time, attractive people and wealthy people get a pass, a “get out of jail” card almost. It’s no fault of their own, but it is odd to associate kindness, trustworthiness and “being wise” with people who are instantly attractive or wealthy. After listening to what Tara-Leigh was saying it makes sense that Jesus was a quite beauty (like Mr. Darcy 😉) their character and good deeds grow on you and then you see them as some of the most beautiful! But a lot of people are hung up on looks and wealth…the surface stuff. This is off topic, but related… when I chopped off my long hair in high school to a pixie cut my mom’s first words were “well, there went all your beauty.” That was obviously heartbreaking but not surprising for her to say something like that. Almost a decade later I’m newly married with long hair again and I decide to chop my hair to a pixie once more. I loved it, it wasn’t a shock to me… however when I met up with my in-laws for dinner my husband’s dad and step mom wouldn’t even look at me. It was so weird and THAT was heartbreaking… my mom’s words from when I was a teenager came back into my head and I imagined thats what my in-laws were probably thinking about me. Never mind my character… it was the look/beauty they wanted to be associated with. We ALL do something like this (myself included) it’s a currency of sorts? My currency isn’t wealth or attractiveness but I do get easily tricked by people who are really funny and often find myself giving them a pass at unkind things because of their sense of humor. Christ’s currency is character. Annnyways, that’s a long winded rant. In a nutshell, I appreciate that Jesus wasn’t a babe! 😂 Makes him even more relatable! ❤

I got to go to the top of Mount Etna in Sicily. It was amazing to see in the air. But not so great because I have asthma and got there and had to hide inside. I ended up in the ER, but it was totally worth it.
It really is so cool to see all the many ways Jesus shows up in the old testament!! In the words of Mike Winger, basically anytime it gets weird in the Old testament is when you probably see a type of Jesus. Lol
Blue Letter Bible is an amazing tool! It has original translation look up, strong's definitions, and many more features! It helped me so much in studying the bible and getting to the root and the meaning of the word.

I'm thankful that you're not backing down. Please don't ever apologize for believing the Truth. The world calls what's evil "good", and they call what is good "evil." If you were of the world the world would love its own." But because He has called you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. I'm paraphrasing. Rejoice. Be exceeding glad. I pray you get even more bold. I pray that for me too!

I think God puts different ventures on our hearts. For me God tells me to spread the gospel, not by inviting people to church or telling them to read their Bible, but by teaching kindness and empathy to others around me. Teachings about grateful hearts etc

I love this!!! I was raised in an AG church all of my life, and I am learning things in this podcast that I have never heard of before. (and I am 55) I had no idea of the difference between "an angel and THE angel"...so incredibly interesting. I am very new to religion... I also have a hard time feeling and believing that Christ is God... It is confusing and hard to wrap my head around... I just started reading the bible and hoping to get some clarity.

Hi Candace, love this podcast!! I'm a Christian but have to admit I haven't read the entire bible. I started with the old testament and I hate to admit it but I was so upset and confused of the many things God did and thought it was mean of him also which I had always thought he was a loving father. I know he is, but when I was reading the old testament it confused me so I stopped. .. I read some of the new testament and got closer to Jesus. But in watching your podcast today I have to admit that I always thought Jesus was God's son. . so once again I was a little confused, well okay more than a little lol.... then when I thought I finally got it, you read scripture at the end and I believe you say that you Jesus was born of God. ... can you please explain that again one more time? And also what is a cab bible? I have a King James Bible are they different. ..one last thing, I just want to say that I have so much respect for you standing up for your beliefs, and I pray that you will feel the love and support of all your followers who love you too, myself included. May God give you His wisdom and strength to deal with these people, which of course I'm talking about the JoJos in this world. it's totally out of hand, and there's no morals or respect for anyone anymore. .
