@@anonanonymous4021 It will frustrate you. Seasoned players know the bugs and how to workaround but new players are often frustrated until they learn them. Either way there is a free fly next month so you could play for free and see for yourself.
@@anonanonymous4021 My advice is the gameplay here is actual, they aren't sugar coating the bugs. It is very playable with limited game loops. Get yourself a base minimal $45 Aurora package and play it, many ships can be earned and bought in game You don't need a better starter. I think it is easily worth more than that amount of entertainment+ and getting more each patch. Overall very little risk thinking of it that way. The in game community is very helpful for new people. Advice: Only play it if your PC is decent. The game isn't very well optimized for midrange or less PC's so it will be a bit underwhelming. If you try it we recommend watching a few tutorials online before hand. For starting city choose New Babbage (Microtech) or Loreville (Hurston). Orison (Crusader) and Area18 (Arccorp) can run a little rough on some machines.
lol welcome to Star Citizen. See you in the verse! The guy who called you was a pirate most likely, scanned your ship and pulled up your names then called. Once you are in a call, you are effectively in a party with them as well which is why their names popped up on your hud. In the mobiglass under the communications tab, you can see and end the call for future reference. But that looked like alot of fun, emergent gameplay lol.
The game is epic for sure! But the ending sums up most my attempts at playing lol. When it's an actual release I can see this being huge. Even with the bugs its an awesome game to play.
The pilot likely had a huge warning about restricted area ahead well before the explosion. Many people make the mistake of flying third person too much, you lose a lot of information that way.
That was Tom's fault. The game kept warning him he was in a "no-fly" zone, but he either ignored it or was flying in 3rd-person the entire time and didn't see it.
You know.. I had a really long day at work.. (Drama).. and just to come home.. smoke a blunted and laugh at you and your homeboy.. really relaxing and a stress reliever. Good Video!!!!!
I'm so glad more people are catching the Star Citizen itch! Been playing the game for like 6 years now and loving every minute. Once it sinks its claws in its hard not to be addicted 😅
Mate that's nothing you should see when ya in the PVE event and the capital ship that comes explodea it's fucking awesome witnessing it in person actual game
That’s nothing comparing to the upcoming improvements in the next q2 and q3 patches, regarding to physical damage and vfx that involves this tech I mean, with the physical damage tech and fire hazard tech, this railgun shot can make a hole in the hull, disabling the ship and igniting a fire inside as well
lol, loved the vid, great job. The reason for the explosion at the end is that you were below the "safety zone" threshold of Area 18 and it could not autopilot you back to safety fast enough. ArCorp does not like players flying below 500 m..........even in the wind plains.
Which is exactly why they called them. They were exploiting a bug. It's probably within the acceptable limits of somewhat legit gameplay but this won't be possible in future.
@@festersmith8352 it doesn't matter if you pick up or not it still gives away your location. It's literally one of the first "tips" that pop up every time you start the game if you have tips turned on.
I love these videos with Tommy (and Bong of course). The duck noises for the language just made me laugh more and immerse in it. Great content.
Everytime you play this game it is confused chaos! Love the content Jack hope to see more SC in the future o7
Love these videos! I just love Jacks attitude the whole time. Jacks playing a fully polished game and everyone else is like “careful, don’t press that button….you might die” 😂
Star Citizen is cool and all but calling it "fully polished" is ridiculous. We can all see the bugs in this video alone.
@@treeinafield5022 I don't believe Steven suggested the game was fully polished - but that Jack is playing the game as if it is. Whoosh
@@sprucemaroose yes exactly. I’m fully aware of the state of the game. But Jack just goes in head first, when told the elevator was broken he was like” noo?? Surely not. There must be another way”.
Great content!
I LOVE your videos of this game this game is so cool man love it
lol welcome to Star Citizen.
Omg please do more videos with him of this game, this had my sides hurting!
This can become the GOAT of game
That was Tom's fault. The game kept warning him he was in a "no-fly" zone, but he either ignored it or was flying in 3rd-person the entire time and didn't see it.
when it's an actual release? lmao that's not how star citizen works
@@0Asterite0 Just crushed my dreams bro 😂
Finally a game that accuarately represents the travel my parents told me they had to make everyday to go to school
09:00 that explosion effect was so cool. I really hope they can get this game going soo fecking cool
Mate that's nothing you should see when ya in the PVE event and the capital ship that comes explodea it's fucking awesome witnessing it in person actual game
not just the PVE events the last PVPVE event also was a blast u can see players and whole org fighting for control for a drug lab
That’s nothing comparing to the upcoming improvements in the next q2 and q3 patches, regarding to physical damage and vfx that involves this tech
I mean, with the physical damage tech and fire hazard tech, this railgun shot can make a hole in the hull, disabling the ship and igniting a fire inside as well
I’d heard of this game but never saw any content. Really enjoying this series, great lols. The bugs seem insane but the ambition of this game is huge
Love the videos with Tom, also digging this SC video!!
My dream game has come along! absolutely amazing. Want to see more of this Jack!
Love that you used the Star Citizen music for the video, too. Thanks for bringing more attention to this amazing game.
please more! this is what made me watch you on a regular!
PLEASE POST MORE OF THIS VIDS!! They are so good and funny lol
this is so good and highly entertaining. thanks for all your content jack!
I don't know why, but announcing each other's short names always makes things more entertaining and humorous.
lol, loved the vid, great job. The reason for the explosion at the end is that you were below the "safety zone" threshold of Area 18 and it could not autopilot you back to safety fast enough. ArCorp does not like players flying below 500 m..........even in the wind plains.
I love watching Jack Frags uploading Star Citizen stuff. It's a freaking hilarious adventure every time LOL!!! So entertaining.
Is so funny watching Jack and Tommy interact in voip. Brings me back to the DayZ days.
Theres a bug when you direct call someone you can see their ping, thats why you could see those pirates and they could see you too.
Which is exactly why they called them. They were exploiting a bug. It's probably within the acceptable limits of somewhat legit gameplay but this won't be possible in future.
@@CptHer This is def. not acceptable gameplay. Its bugusing.
Testing it out and finding the bugs is ok, but abusing them, is not ok.
@@tarakivu8861 Veterans know not to answer those calls. And i teach new players not to.
@@festersmith8352 it doesn't matter if you pick up or not it still gives away your location. I have ignored a few call only to still have the name tags show up. its the initial call itself that causes the exploit there is no way around it. I just leave server because the constant player icon becomes annoying.
@@stannistargaryen Now that I did not know.
- "We're the UEE you have to pay...". Very funny video!!!! Gib more!
this is a great duo for a great series to come!!! Go space pirate Jack!!
These videos are great mate, please keep making them! This is pure gold!
Pure comedy these videos 😂 probably wouldn’t like the game myself but can’t stop watching u guys play it just so random the stuff that happens
I'm so happy that big youtubers are bringing more eyes to my favorite game
the reaction on the last part that was just GENIUS "Tom.....what just happend ?" "I have no idea Jack" made me laugh for an Hour mate xd
So funny entertaining I just gotvthis game hope to bump into you fellas soon
This has to be one of your best non-BF videos! 😆 I was laughing so hard at the dinner table, luckily my wife is not home, she would think I'm mental. 🤣
Thats one of the best gamplays of any game i have ever seen.
Tommy asking a man who bought a THOUSAND med pens if he has another one XD
I've never watched gameplay of this. This is absolutely amazing and was so funny. More please.
Man, I really need to start playing this game again.
It's gotten a lot more stable in the past 6 months. Some impressive performance gains being reported in the new test patch.
Well you just got a custom Naboo fighter, I'm sure an M50 pilot would love to race you XD
Should definitely make this a series I would absolutely love every second of it.
despite the janky physics and deadly bugs, this game world is painstakingly incredible!
Terada (popular SC streamer) is disappointed since 3.17 PTU because, quoting: "I always end my streams with a server crash, but 3.17 is too stable, I've tried everything... I can't believe I say that but Star Citizen became too stable".
@@cabritsanscorgaming ok
@@cabritsanscorgaming sure my pc could more than handle it and I encountered a game breaking bug every hour that set me back 2 hours this game is utter dog shed man
Just a little heads up, Jackfrags - the weapon on the Gladius (the small fighter) you got into at 26:05 that fired a blue laser bolt is called a distortion weapon. If you land good hits with it on an unshielded ship, it can cause the opponent’s power, engines and remainder of shields to go offline, causing them to drop out of the sky. They’re good fun.
would love to see a series on this game! love it!
1:20 watching this is one thing but playing and 'experiencing' this space feeling is a whole other level! I remember testing the game some while ago and everything blew my mind.
thank you jack for posting more SC the game really needs visibility to attract new players
Amazing game and a fantastic video, thanks !
