Technically, he was the leader during the Alien Rangers arc since he was the only one to regain his original age and worked closest with Zordon Alpha and the Alien Rangers. Zordon even acknowledges this.

Let this be a lesson to the Ranger fans out there in the first clip from Power Rangers in space. Never under any circumstances use a broken morpher to morph into a ranger no matter what color it is! Attempted, and you’re TOAST!
Bulk was indeed written as a bully, but his character was redeemed after season one of MMPR. It can be argued his character is more iconic than many, many power rangers and you only get that by being a good character (and person).
Bulk & Skull were honestly only bullies in the first season. By the second season, they had become more loveable goofballs/underdogs. At the end of "Power Rangers in Space", Bulk & Skull basically lead the people of Angel Grove to fight alongside the Power Rangers against Astronema's forces. Bulk was a good person, full stop.
Its kinda funny that tommy produced a second morpher since its part of the green ranger suit. Infinite morpher glitch, just keep morphing back and forth while removing the morpher each time
I don't understand why Rocky is always skipped when showing the Ninja Steel footage. I know it's not an single shot of him but he still morph's into the Red MMPR!
He didn't have his own morphing sequence the way Tommy did. His was part of a group. And to be honest, this video skips the group morph which shows Tommy morphing into the Green Ranger alongside the other Legendary Rangers as well. This video is highlighting individual comeback morphs/morph sequences.
😢 Seeing the ones with Tommy really hurt because nobody can replace him. He’s gone and there will never be another JDF. He was the face of the franchise for nearly 3 decades and helped keep it alive through cons, fan films, charity, donations, and other public appearances or events. JDF will be missed. With him gone, Power Rangers is gone with him. The franchise is already being sold off by Hasbro and auctioned.
I really wish they could explain Tommy's death. Maybe they could explain this by Green Candle that affected not only Green Ranger powers but his life span and White, Red and Black Ranger powers let him live longer than he was supposed to.
They can't tho, in the Comics (they're 100% canon) Tommy is alive in the main canon, considering Soul of Dragon was the last time we saw him alive, and in Ninja Steel, Tommy's son was like 8-9 nine years, we need to see a eleven years time skip for atleast kill him
@Alessandro They could just do a time skip and have JJ be the green ranger like they did with Minh/Trini and have Katherine as pink again and have mother and son carry on dad's legacy. It would be strange since green and pink were originally a couple but Once and Always made the concept work and having Kat there would bring it full circle.
Tommy in older season: loses his powers and can never be regained Tommy in newer seasons: can seamlessly shift between all old morphs like they were never gone😂
To be fair though, a good chunk of former Rangers/teams have been shown to completely lose their powers, presumably permanently. But then they reappear years later, having their powers restored with little to no explanation.
Power Rangers bridged generational gaps, owned consumerism, and still stands as a golden nugget of nostalgia. And i love it. I also love how fever-dreamish it is to me as i was born in ‘95 but my 2 brothers (6 and 7 years older than me) would fight over the black ranger/adam park merch. Cut to me being the only one of the family who loves anime and only recently figured out that Johnny Young Bosch has been following me in life all this time 😂😂😂😂 only just getting into power rangers now at 29 but it is definitely good story and good times
So I think there’s a plot hole with the last White ranger morph. Tommy didn’t have that coin with the falcon zord. He had his falcon coin so it should have changed. Bandai had already produced the coin by this episode so it should have been used!
The answer is so obvious: because the video was called Mighty Morphin Power Rangers return morphs.... as in no Zeo, no Turbo, no Alien, no In Space, no Lost Galaxy, etc, etc.
