El rally es durísimo, y tiene zonas espectaculares y muy complicadas...pero muy poco accesibles si no conoces la zona. Es un carreron de los de verdad, muy buenas especiales, un rally espectacular y casi siempre condiciones duras. Muy recomendable para verlo en directo.
They were brought in to reduce the damage to the ground, once the 490/500 2-strokes came in and MX tyres developed to cope the courses were simply destroyed especially for later laps and the smaller classes. Imagine what that track would look like if everyone was on paddle tyres.
@jimtitt3571 agreed on the paddle tires. We run mx tires in the states and they do tear stuff up. That said, we can navigate the course and get up the hills. Novice classes would never finish a race in those conditions with spec tires. Love the videos, I always enjoy them!
@@mr.midlifecrisis8547When they came in it was actually helpfull in a lot of ways, made marking courses easier because it evened the bike performance out quite a bit, I was in the top class in the UK and ran 490 Yamahas then the 495 KTM and being able to hook them up and use 60hp was an enormous speed and performance difference to the usual Clubman class guys with 24hp PE Suzuki's and such. Like a lot of guys I ended up either softening the power or moving down to 350-400 engines. It was confusing for a while, some events it's was run whatever, the internationals it was FIM.
