      Cloudberry appropriated by Evangelicals as “God’s Berry” since he lives in the clouds.
      Gooseberries… I’ve never understood them. Seems like a part of Modern Physics… how can it be a Goose and a Berry at the same time?

    It made me really happy that Stephen and Roy talked so openly and so naturally about therapy... Americans need a LOT more of it. It'd help the country as a whole in excellent ways... Just imagine if Trumplicans started going to therapy regularly they could see who brainwashed they are and their therapist could help them work their way out of it. Yeah there are plenty of liberals that could use the therapy and it'd help bring them out of their stuck up, high horse, mentality, overall it could help all Americans be more tolerant of views and enable us to collectively have constructive conversations about Politics rather than destructive and hostile arguments. This isn't even touching the fact that it is the greatest thing we could do to reduce the number of deaths due to gun violence in this country, gun control would work, but not to the extent that a mental healthcare push would, if we aren't going to do a single payer healthcare system we should at least have a national mental healthcare system that serves every single American free of cost. With a massive push for educating more Psychiatrists and a public campaign to normalize therapy and Psychological treatment as a whole to a much larger extent than is currently happening. The amount that this could help the U.S. is genuinely a bit scary because the largest issue we have in this country is the mental health of the majority of it.

    • @oneirishpoet
      @oneirishpoet 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      WTF are you talking about " liberals needing therapy? I'm a progressive 63-year-old male and nurse who went back to school in my fifties to get my nursing degree. I work in behavioral health at a large urban hospital, I'm extremely liberal and I sure as fuck don't need any therapy to figure out who I am or what's wrong with this fucked country and society we live in, why don't you keep your ignorant comments to yourself ya fecken idjit 😁

      @@rlud304 "no offense" - proceeds to say I am delusional- you didn't read my post all the way, clearly, I realize its TLDR for most but at least read it if you are going to respond... I pointed out how a mental healthcare single payer system would be extraordinarily beneficial for Americans, this healthcare would include psychiatric services and talk therapy services along with any prescribed medications being free of cost.
      As far as delusional thinking goes... look at all the greatest minds, all the greatest idea's and you will find people called delusional, while I am *FAR* from a "greatest mind" label I don't exactly have the mind of a Qanon believer either somewhere in the middle like most people.

    Definitely remember doing science fair in 9th or 10th grade where me and my buddy spent MONTHS of time doing qualitative research on the effects of music on the human mind and how it translated to paper in art classes. Hours and hours spent working with various classes and teachers to do this, had to get permissions to leave our classes in the day to do this. Weeks of looking at the submitted art pieces and translating this into quantitative data to present at the fair. And more time still going over how our presentation should go, how to start how to show, how to pitch it. Made it far into the finals, ended up going to State if I remember right.
    Meanwhile, we find a classmate at State that did an experiment with jump height and looked at various basketball shoes and trued to see if certain models of of shoe actually affected performance (he was into sports). Data was interesting and his presentation was decent, so we got to talking afterwards. Dude straight up told us he forgot about the initial project deadline (that year we were required to participate in the school science fair for the grade) and made the whole thing up the night before, data and all. Said he threw it together in an hour. After the first fair since he somehow got a ribbon his parents forced him to go as far as he could because they were proud of him.
    We were pissed at the time (obviously) but it cracks me up to this day thinking about it.
