My all time favorite breakfast! There's a lady just like this in the Jardin near the convent in Patzcuaro. She daily has maybe 8 pots warmed with selections to choose from. All the taxi drivers are eating there so you know it's the best. Sad that it was closed last year for Covid. We are always looking for this meal everywhere in Mexico
Hace poco más de 2 años fui a México y fuimos mi hermano, su esposa y yo.
Almorzamos tacos de carne asada y tortillas recién hechas con jugo de naranja fresco, cuando pagué le pregunté a la señora, " cuanto es: y me dijo , son $140 pesos, unos 7 dolares.
Le di $200 pesos , le dije quédese con el cambio, cuando reaccioné, pense: debi de haberle dado solo eso de propina.

I watching this at 11:30 at night and the breakfast is making drool!! I would kill that plate anytime of the day. Those places make the best food. I live in Vallarta and those little family owned are great for breakfast and lunch. There are less now because they cater to tourist way to much. You have to go where tourist don’t go!!
