Hello! I’ve noticed you said the rooms are small, as though it seems as it is, however there are rooms in the other side of the hotel which are fairly big! I do recommend staying there as it has all the basic needs of a hotel, and has a comfortable amount of room to stay in.
Ive stayed there twice and had tiny rooms, im 5,9 and my feet were longer than bed!
But im glad youve found alternative rooms!

This Hotel is in the center of Stone Town Zanzibar Tanzania. It was built in 1834 and is on the beach, located in a unesco world heritage site. They have nightly rates that are below $100.00! the neighboring hotels charge $500.00 a night! This place is living history its beautiful, functional, and amazing value. Go to Zanzibar stay at the tembo hotel and get lost in history!
One the best hotel in Stone town..very good service...friendy staff..evryteen is ok.

I Was there in December 2022 came back with the best souvenir of all Covid.
Not the hotels fault of course Zanzibar is a truly amazing place !!!!

Do you have advice on which room is better sea facing ?
Yes if you can get sea facing.
The resort has tiny rooms even the beds are short.
So my advice is get the largest room you can. Sea view and you have a double win!
