Zebra muscles are invasive in the grate lakes I love on gorgan bay and there is tons there no why the water is so clear the water is clear because there seems to be less algey and weeds and that lake has tons of sand and rocks wich helps a lot with clarity
It's a it's a vampire stake! What a fun way to spend the afternoon! Did a lot if those myself, we found fishing rods with reels, all kinds of lures, shotguns, tons if weights, and thousands of feet of old fishing line. Oh and of course garbage bags filled with trash, our way of helping conservation! Love just getting out in nature, fresh air, time spent with family, friends, and sometimes loves! Great video brought back tons of memories! Thanks Alex and Bethany!
Just got a chance to finish this video and I loved it. Not only you and Bethany finding some good stuff and cleaning up what idoits leave behind ( thank you for that ) but also explaining the layout when water is low and what we should be on the look out for love it. Love the man made brushes that's is freaking cool man the boulders the rock trail everything about it. Thank you would love more videos like this very informative.
I HATE ppls disrespect by throwing their trash out in or around waterways wether it's lakes or rivers or whatever ! It's one of those things that really gets under my skin!
Love the video, always fun to search for lost lures and pick up after lazy people. I tend to find most of my lures in trees while kayaking since most of my lakes tend to stay pretty consistent. Best finds to date are a wopper plopper 90 and a spook. Keep your eyes peeled everyone and tight lines!
Love finding lures, got almost an entire box full of nice stuff, from bladed jigs, spinnerbaits, a buzz bait and several crankbaits lipless etc....love it about fell out of the yak yesterday reaching up as far as I could to grab a big squarebill in a tree with my paddle lol it has a small groove in it so I hooked the line and boom, new squarebill lol
Treet is the poor mans spam, I’m loyal to spam so I can’t speak on how the off brand taste lol. Good job on finding that bouncy ball, those are way more fun then they should be. Great video Alex
Thanks for finding bob. We lost him a few days ago while he was catfish shotgun hunting. Now we know the story. Also that was his favorite green bouncy ball please return it. Lol.
Alex Rudd Fishing thanks man. Keep up the fishing. To me your the best bass fishing on TH-cam. I’ve learned and grown so much in my bass fishing since watching your videos and listening to your podcast. Keep at it man.
When I get bored fishing out of my kayak which isn't very often but I do get bored from time to time if I'm not catching anything. And that's the time I go along the shoreline looking for lures that the glitter boat crowd couldn't get close enough to get back. The Lakes at I fish don't have the damn action like you do because they're Highland reservoirs. Fisherman still lose lures in the bushes and I go retrieve them! Good video! Always good to entertain your personal 10 year old!
Good video, was fun. Lots of people walk the banks in fa/winter, ya'll were first one to explain WHY the water is low. Here in Fla, it's mostly tidal. Thnx. 👍😎🎣😊
We don't have the drawdown thing around here but when the wind changes direction I go out in the morning after work and look for bobbers on the shoreline.
Different kind of vid . Nice finds for sure . The river where I fish a ton near the public parking lots a ton of bank anglers go . There is like 3 trees specifically where people get hung up and break off . Everytime I have my boat or yak in there I go grab a few new baits iff the trees I find.
Pretty cool video only thing I've ever found was a Hula popper and it was an old one so not too bad for me. New shirt and hooks plan on using it this summer.
Cool video, Alex. How about some more videos with the dogs, too? I was really hoping you’d find a nice Deps or some other kind of swimbait. Maybe next time. Thanks for posting.
I had a friend in a local dive club that told me that some of the divers were sinking bed springs in high traffic areas in rivers back in the 80s and getting hundreds of walleye lures every year!!!
The hat stuff is weird dude! I recently found the actually top of a hat with no Bill by a creek after a flood! wonder if theres some sort of hat loving creature that roams our waters lol
G'day Alex back over 25 years ago now me and my mate and his grandad he use to take us to the Murray river. They use to drop it so low we use to find so Meany lures and floats and sinkers to! Dam say this I just thought how old I'm getting loll. But now the greens in the government don't let us have any more fun out in the bush ant more. That's why we had so big and bad fires! All that old wood was sitting up there. For 20 years now if it went back to how it was the fires would have NOT been so bad!
How many people would take home the lost lures, but leave the trash? Well done, my friend! My father taught me to leave the campground in better condition than I found it. You live that in this video. I hope others take notice.
I think it's good of y'all for doin that ya clean up a good fishing area and in return ya get some free lures and respect from your viewers 👍 I hope those who leave trash in our lakes get caught go to jail get a big fine and get humiliated in the worst possible way 😆
should take the catfish and zebra mussel to your class for show and tell or you could take your class on field trip and search for lures and who ever finds the best gets extra credit and you keep all the finds
This use to be my favorite thing to do as a kid. During winter we rode horses around the lakes and my dad would let me stop and pick up lures. That shit killed me “gonna title this murder weapon found even though I didn’t find anything”. You been browsing other fishing channels I see.
How much u wAnt fr the fat rap? Lost mine in exactly that configuration... I enjoy checking put dam badins as they pull water exposing fishy hidy holes!! Always pick up trash as well :) I love when couples do videos together... sharing time together and enjoying themselves as well ❣️ Keep up the good work and all the best to you and bethany 🎣
Okay I'm convinced that you didn't grow up on a lake so the carpet is to put down so that the keel of your boat doesn't scrub. People that frequent these shores and islands and drink beer during the summer time will throw carpet down where they Park their boat over and over again I haven't seen people with pontoons use carpet.
Can’t stand trash. They built a new local fishing pond by my house 4 or five years back and it been open for about 2 years. With in 6 months trash everywhere. Fished it Monday and snag up a crank bait by the bank and when I pulled on it a freaking cast net came up with like five lures hung up in it. Went home got a rake and collected all them free lures. Next thing I thought is who the hell is throwing a damn casting net in this little pond.

Wow where are u finding all of these cool lures at? Keep it up!! Love it!!
I HATE ppls disrespect by throwing their trash out in or around waterways wether it's lakes or rivers or whatever ! It's one of those things that really gets under my skin!
Me to man! What a lot of folks don't understand is it's hunters and anglers that keep public water public.
This is a great idea also to study structure and other things to learn about the water you’re fishing might have to do this!!
For sure man!
I enjoyed this video! Pretty cool finds! You sure know your lures! Would like to see more like this! Good job cleaning up the trash too!
Great video and loved the step brothers it’s just like cold case files 😂😂
Excellent video guys 👍 it looked like alot of fun. Alex, your exit stage left at the end was the best 😄 as was your wife’s reaction 😄
Thanks for watching man!

Great video! You should do more of them, I think.
Good scores man! Would definitely like to see more of this style video in the future.
Rudd treasurer hunting team. Your treasurer hunting bag. Another Rudd adventure!
Majorly enjoyed this video! Super interesting to see what the "landscape" under the water looks like.
Much respect to you and your wife. One thing I hate with a passion are litter bugs.

I played with it all day walking around my classroom 😂
Ref Treet: 'bout the same, little saltier, used to be cheaper, can't afford either one of them anymore.
“People die every day. Give them a proper burial in an unmarked grave”!!! 😂😂😂😂
😂😂💀💀
All Will Ferrell and John C. Riley movies are my favorites!
We call THOSE PEOPLE gator bait down here in Fla. 🤔🙀😱🥴
Thanks for finding bob. We lost him a few days ago while he was catfish shotgun hunting. Now we know the story. Also that was his favorite green bouncy ball please return it. Lol.
😂😂😂 best comment I've seen in a while!

@@matthewhampel1554 thanks bud!
Enjoyed this vid, more people need to do stuff like this

This was a nice change. Liked seeing what you found.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Great video. And thank you I do the same thing before I even get a line wet
Good video, was fun. Lots of people walk the banks in fa/winter, ya'll were first one to explain WHY the water is low. Here in Fla, it's mostly tidal. Thnx. 👍😎🎣😊
A video on freshening up those baits and fishing with them would be awesome.
It's coming!
Much respect. Very happy to see others out picking up after all the disrespectful people. Looked like a fun time also like an adult Easter egg hunt.
For sure!
We don't have the drawdown thing around here but when the wind changes direction I go out in the morning after work and look for bobbers on the shoreline.
I have always enjoyed walking lakes in the winter, you definitely see a lot of future fishing options

That Bandit is a huge score!!!
Yes!
Pretty cool video only thing I've ever found was a Hula popper and it was an old one so not too bad for me. New shirt and hooks plan on using it this summer.
Great job you two a successful day at the lake! What was really surprising is that you had the entire place to yourself!
Great video that is great to help clean up
Thanks buddy!
Cool video, Alex. How about some more videos with the dogs, too? I was really hoping you’d find a nice Deps or some other kind of swimbait. Maybe next time. Thanks for posting.
Yeah I want to bring the dogs along. It's just been to cold to have them on the boat.
I've always wanted to do this! Awesome video
Thanks bud!
Hey that is great and thanks for cleaning up!
Love to come out and find lures but also can put out brush and or create a rock piles logs etc and take pictures to come back and fish .
I like these videos, I definitely want to see the follow up
Is that Kentucky lake?
We do the same but walk along the banks when the ice hits. Be amazed how much stuff we find stuck in trees that are just out of reach
I bet!
Alex. How would you fish new melones in the summer? Fishing a tourney there this summer. I live in so cal so I have no clue how to fish there
I'm from TN so I have no idea. I've never even been to Cali
Alex Rudd Fishing wait, wrong guy, bearded bass in is the guy, whoops! We’ll i love your channel
That carpet is what they had the body rolled up in 😂
You should do more videos like this. You found some good lures
I'm going to try to do a few more before the pull the water back up.
Such a great idea! I couldn’t wait to see what you were going to find next.
Glad you enjoyed it Brad!
great video!!!! please make more
Thanks Kate!
So happy I clicked on this video. Great job bud
Thanks bud!
thank you for taking the time
Thanks for watching!
follow up video after the baits are cleaned up?
Absolutely
Free lures!
Best price in the world!
tiny bouncy balls drilled through make for nifty "weights" (found that out as a kid) they seemed to fall much slower and hang up less on rock bottoms
Bandit looks custom painted?
I've never seen one like that myself.
Awsome man I do the same thing when I go out and fish
It's so much fun!
Very cool. I’ll do that one day!
Alex, who made the clear pouch for the lures that you picked up. I could use one. Thanks Stan
I tried to look up Up River products and couldn't find them.

Great finds 👀
I enjoyed this I've been trying to suggest a find and fish challenge type deal I'm new to your channel loving the content brother
The hat stuff is weird dude! I recently found the actually top of a hat with no Bill by a creek after a flood! wonder if theres some sort of hat loving creature that roams our waters lol
Dagum man eating hat wearing bigfoot looking lake beast 👽😂
I was waiting for a snake to come out of that rock you were sticking your hand under..... Then I realized, its winter time.. lol
I always get excited when I find a good or even bad lure. Lots better than having to buy them
We need more lure hunting videos
It’s the perfect time of year for it.
I hope the monster bass box is Worth it I get my first one Tuesday
A Mr. Clean Magic Eraser does really good and your not putting potentially harmful to paint chemicals on it.
So did you find the dead person?
Not yet I'm still hot on the case 😂
Your prints are on the ‘murder weapon’ now 🤔😆
Dun dun duuuuunnnnn! 😂
For some weird reason I like seeing people finding lures
It’s fun man!
Now that's a great date right there!! 👊💪
Yes 🙌🏻
Alex Rudd....... a true romantic...! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 great video Alex!

I appreciate you finding my Arashi.😀
😂 #finderskeepers
Different video but I like it
The pipe I think was originally a steak to hold that brush pile down
I hope you marked those piles:)
Went to the same spot and found a river2sea jerkbait that was made over 10 years ago a while back
There awesome!
Alex who won the email giveaway?
I'll be honest I'm still sorting through emails. I got over 700 emails. I'm trying to pull all the addresses.
My dude. Yes sir thank you
Thanks bud!
Awesome. Do it again.
Thanks for watching!

The beer was not mine, swear
😂😂😂
Always check the crack!
The carpet is what the dead guy was wrapped in
Another clue to the mystery 😂
I am new to the Channel what part of the country are you from ?
TN
Alex Rudd Fishing I am not to faraway in west ky

I think I'm gonna hold onto that Fat Rap! I like it to much. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Bethany.....................RUN !
Cool stuff do the same thing over here.
Bro because hats fly off on boats they're made out of fabric so they sink the fabric deteriorates quicker than the bill does...
Come on bro good idea but i think it was set up. I think your shows rock though i will still watch
Somebody probably put that carpet there so people would snag your lures and they could come and get them.
Lost lures, say that 3 times 3x fast
Alex,
Found a pipe do you know what it is = The Murder Weapon!!
1000% murder weapon 🔪
The Bill's don't deteriorate like the mesh on the hats probably a boater lost it
#sarcasm
I'm actually working on a article about this very topic...
Nice!
They rolled the body up in the carpet that had blood on it probably!!! 🤷🏻♂️😂🤦🏻♂️
Just another clue to the East TN massacre of 87...that's the running title for the book in writing about it 😂
Alex Rudd Fishing well looks as if you’ve found several clues today!
No Indian artifacts ? I used to look for them all of the time but , not so much nowadays. Guess I got lazy..
There are a few places I know I can find native American artifacts around here. I need to go check them out.
Okay I'm convinced that you didn't grow up on a lake so the carpet is to put down so that the keel of your boat doesn't scrub. I do the same thing and love doing it. I added a little extra by using a couple magnets. Check out some "magnet fishing" videos on youtube =)
The lures are great but the best part was picking up trash from the nasty lazy people. I always take a bag with me while bank fishing.
