It looks as if they just made the players stand there so the drawing system will look more legitimate. Besides, the draw mechanic wasn't even carefully explained. Even MPLI has a better draw mechanic than this 3M USD tournament. You have to also think about the prizepool here. First of all, the higher place you get, the higher money you get. Simple enough.
