- Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us. Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.

I praise God for this sermon. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. I hope many will come to fear Him for this is how we can come to know of His mercy towards us in love.

We are the "living epistles" in the end times. Set apart, the God kind - when they see us they see Jesus for in him we live & move and have our being. We are not human beings we are Christ beings. Not the old us cleaned up - we are NEW creations born in the Spirit.
Born again Christians need to understand their true identity & power and operate in the Spirit for Gods purposes 💛

Hi Kimberly, I hope you’re having a great day. :) Reading the Bible will help you understand God’s character and how you can obey and please Him while on this earth. Reading the Bible daily has helped me grow in my walk with God. I encourage you to read Matthew 7:7-8. I encourage you to keep asking and then seeking to know God more. 💕
