Question: can you be legally trespassed from a government building in California? From the ATA (audit the audit) videos I’ve seen, I think the publicly accessible lobby can be treated as private property and one can be trespassed(??). I could be wrong. @@PDGX according to the HOMELAND SECURITY memo of 201 and 2018, any public area is open to the public. 'Trespass' comes when you violate the law. Until such time as you do, you cannot be trespassed. To do so only makes one rich as it is a violation of your rights.

I just don't understand why this keeps happening with a gang of cops dealing with minor disturbances? It makes no sense to call for backup, then hang out wasting time for an hour or more! This is why we hear about de-funding cops more and more seeing this $#!t! I don't agree it should happen, but why don't supervisors train these people better or punish them when they repeatedly make trouble for their own PR not to mention $$ when sued successfully! I think this was one of your BEST AUDITS! You were in control the whole time, from beginning to end, and with every 'cop' that you spoke with. You were confident, knowledgeable, expressed yourself clearly, effectively and efficiently. They really got an education today. They should pay you! I agree: WAGNER really does need to turn in her badge and gun, and do the public a favour. She needs to get a different JOB where she can use her best skills: bullying, disrespect, lying, threatening and faulty logic. All those cops tried to get you off the property; one-by-one, they tried various arguments, lying for the most part. We can conclude that no one follows policy because there is only one directive on how to approach the public: with respect, honesty, and most importantly, within the law. I don't think their policies include sarcasm, lying, being rude, discourteous, and ignorant and uneducated about the laws and basic rights. NOT ONE followed policy, or their OATH...NOT ONE OF THEM. Wow, how sad and disgusting. They should be ashamed.
If you think this is a good audit, you should see the one in another parking lot where he gets detained for trespassing and he makes fools of them with logic, they try to explain there actions but only make it worse. finally they walk away in disgust.
I like how you perform your audits. You start innocent enough "0h, is this against the law?" then when you have exposed their bad behaviors you ring the bell...class is in session. I am a fan of audit videos and yours are among the best. My favorite part of this video and others is when a cop comes in late and tries to play the good cop. You had one in this video. The cop that kept saying "I just got here...", "I didn't call you any names...". What he fails to realize is that when he wears the uniform, he cannot divorce himself from the behavior off ALL the others that wear the uniform. That is what makes tyrannical behavior of bad cops so dangerous to ALL police. People take out their aggression and their perceived injustices (real or imagined) on any cop. Not just the one who wronged them. But a good cop who watches a bad cops behavior is just as guilty, if not more so.

Some people say, why are you going through their parking lot but I love it. When I worked for the sheriffs department, they would drive through the bar parking lot running plates and wait for the customers to come out and arrest them. When the tables are turned, they cry!! 😢

If you think “getting rid of qualified immunity” is the answer to all the problems with policing in this country, you’re delusional. The problem isn’t qualified immunity, it’s the way that those in power allow it to be incorrectly applied to allow officers to do as they please without any accountability. If you do away with qualified immunity altogether, you won’t have a single cop left on the force because and won’t hire any new ones. Nobody’s going to be a cop if you leave them open to being fired, lose their retirement, be subjected to the harsh court of public opinion and target of threats and being blackballed, and put in prison as a result of making a mistake while acting in good faith on duty. Getting rid of QI isn’t the solution. There’s a much more complex problem at hand and complex problems require complex solutions. Accountability is the first issue. There is none. Because those in power are not concerned with what their officers are out there doing day to day. They’re wrapped up in politics and focused on the wrong things. They’ve created policy and procedures and a culture within policing that us too busy generating revenue to protect and serve. Punitive policing to correct the pesky citizens and keep them in line if they have no record, and to find a reason to cite or arrest the shitbags (the rest of the public). They’d rather restore peace however is convenient than find the lawful solution and do what’s right without infringing in anyone’s rights...such as arresting the poor guy because he’s bothering the “good citizens” even tho he’s not breaking the law. Those in power allow the huge egos and smug attitudes and the “Us Vs Them” mentality that prevails in most depts. ...the belief that all those fucking citizens they have to keep in line want to kill them. Driven in their heads constantly. Officer safety is paramount. With no regard for public safety. Officers have been ‘raised” in their depts to know there’s nobody watching them, nobody reviewing their arrest reports and use of force reports to look for patterns of intimidation and excessive force. There should be committees formed to review this and the handling of citizen complaints as well as officers with excessive arrests for resisting only, and other bullshit charges that don’t get charged and the persons released. Uses of force and random samplings of reports need to be reviewed to check body cam footage against the officers narrative. Legislation should be passed requiring officers to sign all reports as true and complete under penalty of perjury. Shift supervisors should be reviewing these things and aware of their officers tendencies and when their officers do wrong, the supervisors need to be punished as well. And their superiors need to feel the pain too. And so on. Accountability. Responsibility. Supervision. Officers who come up being taught and see themselves that nobody is looking become tempted to cut corners, often even with righteous intentions but that’s another issue just leave it at things get done when they normally wouldn’t if there was any oversight. Departments are treated like social justice experiments by those in power. Hiring, promoting, and retaining based on their diversity charts indeed is NOT their strength. Hiring and advancement should be based only on merit. Physical, mental well-being, intelligence, and character standards should all be bumped up, not down. Hiring and promoting anything less than the best candidate lowers depth standards and expectations and makes mediocrity not just acceptable but eventually it becomes a lofty goal. Then you have incompetent command unable to lead with wandering lost souls they’re supposed to be making sure grow into good cops. Not happening. Incompetence, no trust in fellow officers, officers with relaxed physical standards and poor leaders providing slack training and guidance make incompetent officers making poor decisions who are afraid if physical confrontation and bad tactics and officer safety and nobody can correct them as needed because we can’t hurt feelings... but we can hurt citizens, they get the ol lethal force unnecessarily all the damn time. Because officers who can’t handle themselves, are scared, and lose their shit and forget all training and panic shoot or shoot out of fear because they’re terrified of going hands on because they’re fat slow stupid pushiest who were never taught proper tactics and techniques and on n on n on... Lethal force isn’t a last resort anymore. There was a time where a cop shook his head while looking down and said “I had to. I had no choice”. Now cops assay ‘did you see that, the sonofa bitch was gonna drive right at me and try to kill me... or the mental patient on crutches pulled a knife out of his pocket and refused to obey commands immediately and as soon as the officer could claim there was a threat and claim fear for his life, he got to shoot the guy. ... 17 times. Ruled justified. They’ll take no risk. At all. Shoot a guy with a knife three times, he falls down,...doesn’t let go of the knife or obey the commands of the 7 different people are screaming commands at him...so they shoot him another 23 times. Ruled justified. And it’s bullshit. Dudes unable to get up n only had a knife. You don’t need to kill him. And anyone who says he could throw the knife at someone... I’m gonna fight you. They don’t care about the safety of the public. Too many act too fired up and happy to shoot someone the second they can justify it whether it’s necessary or not. What that officer is saying when they asked if you have a car here is he would like to run your plate without probable cause of a crime.... They do it all the time daily and they don't realize it's completely illegal or they don't care! I just don't understand why this keeps happening with a gang of cops dealing with minor disturbances? It makes no sense to call for backup, then hang out wasting time for an hour or more! She needs to get a different JOB where she can use her best skills: bullying, disrespect, lying, threatening and faulty logic. All those cops tried to get you off the property; one-by-one, they tried various arguments, lying for the most part. We can conclude that no one follows policy because there is only one directive on how to approach the public: with respect, honesty, and most importantly, within the law. I like how you perform your audits. You start innocent enough "0h, is this against the law?" then when you have exposed their bad behaviors you ring the bell...class is in session. I am a fan of audit videos and yours are among the best.
My favorite part of this video and others is when a cop comes in late and tries to play the good cop. You had one in this video. The cop that kept saying "I just got here...", "I didn't call you any names...". What he fails to realize is that when he wears the uniform, he cannot divorce himself from the behavior off ALL the others that wear the uniform. That is what makes tyrannical behavior of bad cops so dangerous to ALL police. People take out their aggression and their perceived injustices (real or imagined) on any cop. Not just the one who wronged them. But a good cop who watches a bad cops behavior is just as guilty, if not more so.

May I make a suggestion when they are there to watch you. Try irony. Sometimes that works better. Ask if they have anything illegal on them? Say you smell marijuana, ask if you can look in their car? Ask if they are wearing anything that could hurt you? Ask if you can take an alcohol test?
Some people say, why are you going through their parking lot but I love it. When I worked for the sheriffs department, they would drive through the bar parking lot running plates and wait for the customers to come out and arrest them. When the tables are turned, they cry!! 😢

If you think “getting rid of qualified immunity” is the answer to all the problems with policing in this country, you’re delusional. The problem isn’t qualified immunity, it’s the way that those in power allow it to be incorrectly applied to allow officers to do as they please without any accountability. If you do away with qualified immunity altogether, you won’t have a single cop left on the force because and won’t hire any new ones. Nobody’s going to be a cop if you leave them open to being fired, lose their retirement, be subjected to the harsh court of public opinion and target of threats and being blackballed, and put in prison as a result of making a mistake while acting in good faith on duty. Getting rid of QI isn’t the solution. There’s a much more complex problem at hand and complex problems require complex solutions. Accountability is the first issue. There is none. Because those in power are not concerned with what their officers are out there doing day to day. They’re wrapped up in politics and focused on the wrong things. They’ve created policy and procedures and a culture within policing that us too busy generating revenue to protect and serve. Punitive policing to correct the pesky citizens and keep them in line if they have no record, and to find a reason to cite or arrest the shitbags (the rest of the public). They’d rather restore peace however is convenient than find the lawful solution and do what’s right without infringing in anyone’s rights...such as arresting the poor guy because he’s bothering the “good citizens” even tho he’s not breaking the law. Those in power allow the huge egos and smug attitudes and the “Us Vs Them” mentality that prevails in most depts. ...the belief that all those fucking citizens they have to keep in line want to kill them. Driven in their heads constantly. Officer safety is paramount. With no regard for public safety. Officers have been ‘raised” in their depts to know there’s nobody watching them, nobody reviewing their arrest reports and use of force reports to look for patterns of intimidation and excessive force. There should be committees formed to review this and the handling of citizen complaints as well as officers with excessive arrests for resisting only, and other bullshit charges that don’t get charged and the persons released. Uses of force and random samplings of reports need to be reviewed to check body cam footage against the officers narrative. Legislation should be passed requiring officers to sign all reports as true and complete under penalty of perjury. Shift supervisors should be reviewing these things and aware of their officers tendencies and when their officers do wrong, the supervisors need to be punished as well. And their superiors need to feel the pain too. And so on. Accountability. Responsibility. Supervision. Officers who come up being taught and see themselves that nobody is looking become tempted to cut corners, often even with righteous intentions but that’s another issue just leave it at things get done when they normally wouldn’t if there was any oversight. Departments are treated like social justice experiments by those in power. Hiring, promoting, and retaining based on their diversity charts indeed is NOT their strength. Hiring and advancement should be based only on merit. Physical, mental well-being, intelligence, and character standards should all be bumped up, not down. Hiring and promoting anything less than the best candidate lowers depth standards and expectations and makes mediocrity not just acceptable but eventually it becomes a lofty goal. Then you have incompetent command unable to lead with wandering lost souls they’re supposed to be making sure grow into good cops. Not happening. Incompetence, no trust in fellow officers, officers with relaxed physical standards and poor leaders providing slack training and guidance make incompetent officers making poor decisions who are afraid if physical confrontation and bad tactics and officer safety and nobody can correct them as needed because we can’t hurt feelings... but we can hurt citizens, they get the ol lethal force unnecessarily all the damn time. Because officers who can’t handle themselves, are scared, and lose their shit and forget all training and panic shoot or shoot out of fear because they’re terrified of going hands on because they’re fat slow stupid pushiest who were never taught proper tactics and techniques and on n on n on... Lethal force isn’t a last resort anymore. There was a time where a cop shook his head while looking down and said “I had to. I had no choice”. Now cops assay ‘did you see that, the sonofa bitch was gonna drive right at me and try to kill me... or the mental patient on crutches pulled a knife out of his pocket and refused to obey commands immediately and as soon as the officer could claim there was a threat and claim fear for his life, he got to shoot the guy. ... 17 times. Ruled justified. They’ll take no risk. At all. Shoot a guy with a knife three times, he falls down,...doesn’t let go of the knife or obey the commands of the 7 different people are screaming commands at him...so they shoot him another 23 times. Ruled justified. And it’s bullshit. Dudes unable to get up n only had a knife. You don’t need to kill him. And anyone who says he could throw the knife at someone... I’m gonna fight you. They don’t care about the safety of the public. Too many act too fired up and happy to shoot someone the second they can justify it whether it’s necessary or not. All the bullshit and problems start at the top. Whiz at the top? The same people we the people elected for the positions last election. It’s our own damn fault. Nothing changes by badmouthing, complaining, cussing, hating patrol officers. They’re just living in the world created for them. It’s gotta change. It starts with replacing the mayors, city council, chiefs, DA’s, county representatives, sheriffs, etc. this shit isour own fault. Quit re-electing people who don’t do their jobs. What that officer is saying when they asked if you have a car here is he would like to run your plate without probable cause of a crime.... They do it all the time daily and they don't realize it's completely illegal or they don't care!
