@@SimonDuffy2 great videos! Out of interest have you got any other resorts you'd recommend/ are your favourite? I've only been to a resort in Norway - Beitostølen, where I learnt to ski, then the next two trips have been to Pila but I've pretty much exhausted all the runs now. Looking for something with plenty of long coasting reds sort of like number 1,2,3,14,16 in Pila?
I've only skied in the Aosta valley. La Thuile is a good resort, up the valley from Pila. Lots of runs with a 22km run around one side of the mountain. La Thuile is a little strange in that some of the black runs are at the bottom. The added benefit of a La Thuile ski pass is that you can ski over the border in to France and ski La Rosiere too.
Been to this resort twice.. this is definitely one of my favourite runs!
1, 2 and 3 are all great runs and generally on the quieter side of the mountain. 2 is particularly good. Thanks for watching.
