I watched this video, and the morning of the test, I came a little early and ran this route a couple of times. Let me tell you, the anxiety was pretty much gone when I got behind the wheel with the proctor. I was able to focus a lot better, and got through a lot easier than the first time. I didn't know the last one, and I told her I didn't know. When you turn and start going past Kohls the speed is 30mph, and at one point I was going 35 by mistake and she noticed, but even with those mistakes I still passed! Also I took forever to pull into the parking spot at the end of the test. I don't remember the lady's name, but she was middle aged, slim with blonde hair. When I had to back into the parking spot at the beginning of the test, she let me take a second to collect myself after I was in there. I failed that the first time, so I was so happy I was shaking and I needed a minute to get myself together. She also said it was OK for me to adjust my mirrors during the back up portion. I hope this helps someone!

John yes... so after leaving the Mva you make a left turn at the entrance, keep straight at the stop light, make the first left turn at the stop sign, make a left turn at the stop light, make a right turn at the first stop light then continue straight and make a right turn at the Mva entrance
As i leave the mva should i turn into the closet lane and then merge or just turn into the second lane?? closest lane as in the one that turns back into the parking lot hahah.
Hey! Don't know if you've taken the test but I took the test on this route twice. You can do either; they are both correct. First time I went into the closest lane and merged, and 2nd time I went into the second lane. Second lane is easier and I'd recommend that 100% for sure. Good luck or congrats if you passed!

Just scheduled my appointment to take the test in two weeks. I got my permit last year but for the first half of this year, I was afraid of driving. I didn’t really start until April. But now I feel confident, and even more so now that I’ve seen this video. The route won’t always be the same though, right? Will there be slight differences?
I wonder, for the street sign questions, is it the same ones for every test? or do they just ask you for signs at random? I'm taking my drivers test soon, and i want to make SURE I'm ready to answer those road sign questions
Mariam Yekini I assume you are talking about the exit from the MVA. Good question - I'm not sure about the law. To be safe, I would just wait (no matter how long) for a clear spot and pull out as shown in the video.

my mom got here drivers test passed from watching the Route here licence Expired 10 years ago due to that she was not able to drive when I was born I always wanted to get to spend time with my mom on the road but I never got to but thanks to help and stuff getting everything in shape with money and stuff she was able to pass her test I saw her watching this video so I thought I would comment on it Thanks for the help on the routes and when I take my drivers test I be sure to take my here since I grew up in this town ^-^

I took this exact route and passed my test on my second try so my tips to everyone: don't do it in a truck unless you are pro (and can use your eyes) it will be harder to get in and out that parking spot in the back, the first mph is 35-40 so don't got 45, when you pull in after the test be mindful of how fast and how straight you come into the parking spot
whats the posted speed limit for this route? also, just a question after you get out of the MVA, the first right turn do you think the instructor would want me to turn right on red? or would prefer me to wait till its green? and final thing, if im going through a light and I see it turn yellow would the instructor want me to stop at the light or try to go through it before it turns red? I just feel like it would be safer to stop but would like to know your opinion.
g law I think you should wait until it turn green. Don't try to beat any yellow lights and yes you can turn right on red during the test. But make obvious to him that you have checked your surroundings. But left to me I will wait till it turns green every time
C'mon dude...watch the video. Not sure what the speed limit is when you leave the MVA but a sign at :38 shows it dropping to 45 MPH. I see another sign at :53 (30 MPH). I think you described the correct way to exit the MVA.

I don't think any of the MVA routes use the interstate. I've filmed about half of the locations in Maryland...courses are similar.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. Unless there is a sign saying "no right turn on red", you can make a right, after stopping.
