Somewhat true. I ride a CR125 also, but they are 100% built for the mx track. But with very little mods, and perfect suspension adjustments...I've yet to find any hill or trail I can't ride it on. It's a blast for Sprint Enduros
Much wider rear tire and sprockets for final ratio for about 110km/h top speed. As stock these have really low final ratio wich makes it annoying to ride on the trails
my 2002 model is a beast in the hills, but to be fair i like no bottom end bikes.
