  • In the final game of the regular season the Irish defeated Stanford 56-23 behind a career day for Auric Estimé. Estimé had four touchdowns and ran for a career high of 238 yards as Notre Dame improved to 9-3 on the season. Matt & Pete discuss the game against the Cardinal as well as what bowl season and the offseason holds for the Irish.
What steps has Marcus Freeman taken this year and will his staff look the same at the start of next season. Will Notre Dame look for another transfer portal QB with Sam Hartman’s career coming to a close?

I think what they did for Sam Hartman, featuring like they did and even including him in the Senior walk…was solid PR move for future portal QB’s as it was “we love Sam Hartman”.
WF coach may not like ND “claiming “ he’s one of us but he’s paid to be a coach not PR. ND gets a lot right when it comes to crafting PR. For the football team

How can you dunk on Stanford’s fake reverse?! It resulted in a TD & was 1 of the few things Stanford did right. Morrison is still wondering where the ball is.

The worst part about all of the MF coaching drama is IF this goes bad I’ll never know how much is on Freeman and how much is on our dollar store administration that still finds football “icky” because they wanna be Ivy League.

I totally disagree with that next years offense will look different. We have 3 very capable running back and more coming after signing day AND perhaps a very inexperienced QB who ever it maybe (it’s Angelli’s to lose to either Car, Menchi or a transfer).
So the QB isn’t going to be expected to win the game as oppose at the start of the year with Hartman and I expect they will give it to a running back most of the time next year.

LSU no thanks. Been there done that twice in a decade. I would much rather play Tenn Vols. When it comes to LSU it's a lose, lose situation. Beat LSU and LSU fans don't care about _"meaningless bowl game"_ while lose to them, you have to put up with the obnoxious LSU fans for a full year who didn't care about a _"meaningless bowl game."_ It's very ironic!

So we beat LSU it’s mean less but if we beat Tennessee which is a worse team it will mean something??

@@AndreKing4 Tenn Vols aren't worse than LSU? What is LSU going defensive ranking, sir? I'll give you a hint, it isn't better than Tenn Vols!! It's 101 in the nation, but you calling Tenn Vols worse. Pitt defense is better than LSU. You a clown!

I went to the game and randomly walked by Randy Edsall, turns out his son is on staff at Stanford lol. Just thought it was the most random thing at the time lol
