In a world of recommended supplements for various conditions from kidney disease, fatty-liver, prostate issues, heart-disease, peripheral neuropathy, gout, diabetic retinopathy, etc etc, we're given a plethora of options of anti-inflammatories, anti-oxidants, vitamins and minerals to help with these conditions. Many of us then, have a cabinet full of supplements that we take everyday. Many of the conditions above are inextricably linked, and often, we end up taking various supplements to try to treat these conditions. A daily regimen of supplements might look like: 1000mg Vitamin C, 5,000 IU of D3 with 120mcg of K2, a multivitamin, Lutein, Zinc, NAC, Black Cherry extract, Quercetin, Turmeric, Omega 3, B12. How much is too much for the kidneys? How are a list of supplements to be taken - all at once or through the day at different times? A clear and precise video on managing these kidney related diseases with any other issues at the same time with supplements would be ideal. Thank you so much for the best channel on these topics!

With patients with high potassium in CKD, will refined carbs be better or the whole grains? As whole grains are said to be higher in potassium.

Thank you Dr ! it is so true I find when I eat less carbs and the right carbs in the evening I don’t put on weight as much. Especially since I have Hypothyroidism and going through menopause. It’s pretty rough , but I appreciate these videos very much! Knowledge is power 😊

What about the portioning or carbs? Would it make a huge difference if you had all of your daily carbs in one meal or evenly divided across 2/3/4 meals throughout the day?

Does it make any difference if you have your main meal in the evening or at lunch time?

Great info thanks! Is there a study that isolates the different types of carbs, sugar and potatoes are not the same for sure, wheat and other grains or non gmo corn either. Are there studies that separate the products?

Thx Dr Hashmi for this another great video. But what about individuals who skip dinner ? Maybe for them in this case it's recommended to eat high quality carbs at lunch....Anyway at anytime we have to avoid simple carbs as well as processed foods in the first place.

As always very high caliber helpful intelligent. My issue is I woke up at 1 o'clock it's now almost 2:30 AM I have PTSD I shouldn't be on the phone but I can't stop thinking about what's upsetting me. I'm trying breathing tapping but I find myself just wanting to listen to something on my phone.
I suffered a traumatic violent attack at a doctors 10 years ago I don't have justice I have sued in 6 courts for for the NYPD 2 for the doctor -- they've been protected at the highest level like Epstein and Maxwell used to be it's sickening my stomach is killing me it's made me extra vulnerable to Covid and I've aged instead of being 60 my age I'm guessing chronic logically I'm about 75 I am far older than my age despite now eating healthy. After the attack I kind of retire to my bad there was online gaslighting for over nine years including when I was sick with Covid I was told on behalf of the perpetrators to MoveOn that was my fault and it wasn't a big deal when it's a very big deal and it was not my fault I was a medical patient.
I'm just exhausted October 1, 2012 I went to a doctors for peace of mind to get a cyst removed I left with a hole in my right now. I slowly physically changed gained weight was heading towards obesity. I know can pass for a normal weight but I just don't feel that and I do eat very healthy whole food plant-based oil free .
Lack of sleep chronically ruminating PTSD can really harm your health. I Try meditation I'm going to do this very slow gentle Tapping and Breathing now to see if I could come my mind down
