Not seen the end yet and know it will be spot bollock plumb. You have a great talent and thanks for the opportunity to see such skill and craftsmanship.
STU, thats better than some Bricklayers with a tape and level. stay safe Marra.I was always told by my master, sight your bricks, and perps. and take your time, speed will come with practice. happy days.
@15:03 Stu u are a beast, little high on the right side but this stuff passes as good work now a days, it’s truly sad that masons and building are losing there touch, nice to see a new video from you. Keep it up
Great effort Stu. The thing is when it’s pointed it looks really good and you wouldn’t know it was out of plumb. Makes you wonder how many neat looking brickwork walls you see that are probably out of plumb or gauge
I realised something this is a very good test , practicing this will help alot getting the bricks to as near as possible , so when your in the real world the leveling will be easier coz your already very close
Request Stu', I don't know how you'd demonstrate this but how do you go about building a garden wall when there's a fall or slope of 12" or 30cm front to back, Micky
Tell you what stu that’s good you are give a lot of people hope on building a wall if u can do it that good with out a line and a level fare play stu 👍👍
Ayyyyy just wanna say I’ve like and shared and I found out that I go to your old college and I study bricklaying and thx to u I’m now going up a level so thanks
STU! Just noticed on TH-cam there isn't a single video showing how to change scutch combs/blades. Anyhow now I've mentioned it I know it'll play on your mind.... Haha take care mate
Corners are an art but tbh the localised levelling ie boat level across the brick .... b real on any big build these days wen the dusk shadow rolls up it looks like stevie wonder was moon lighting ...... wet trades multiple variables .... gud to the eye simp
U lay bricks identical as I even butter the bricks the same 👍I got taught back in the 90s by a gang 2/1 called needy and greedy. On site they were the A TEAM. So my question 2 u is what do u think of pick and dip method! Cos I think is rough as f..k but they allow it on site joins half full 🤦♂️🤷♂️ !!!!! I no u say in 1 of your videos that there is no right or wrong way to lay bricks! But if u r first year apprentice and u pick that pic and dip so called technic!!!!!! U wont b a clean (under your feet) bricklayer never mind being a tidy one! Anyway hopefully take that 2 the younger generation that your teaching......here's a saying that my old boss said 2 me when I was 17 years old I'm 41 now......u can take the horse to water but u can't make him drink it 🤔
@@Stucrompton1That was a weird reply. The camera cuts after every brick. Skipping images can make people dizzy or give them headaches. When a video skips frames from obvious edits it implies having to rework (having to reset the bricks, or drop fresh mud). What you are showing here is hard, and the final result was in impressive tolerances considering that you refused to use a level or a line (frankly, they would have been acceptable on many sites with those tools). You should re-upload this video without the excessive cuts; even if it shows you redoing half of your work. I don't think it diminishes you as a tradesmen or a teacher, and it shows integrity.
Одлично Мр Кромптон.Ви сте инспирација многим људима широм света.
привет из Украины, мистер Кромптон мастер своего дела, респект.

I love ur vids man I’m in a vocational school now doing masonry and you have helped a lot! Thanks for the great vids and keep it up 👍
Great effort Stu. The thing is when it’s pointed it looks really good and you wouldn’t know it was out of plumb. Makes you wonder how many neat looking brickwork walls you see that are probably out of plumb or gauge
Still straighter than most new builds 😳, great work Stu.
Almost perfectly plumb without a level. Exceptional! Great job man!
Stu. You are just too good. It's just so satisfying watch the way you do brick laying. And I'm not even in this field. All the best

Request Stu', I don't know how you'd demonstrate this but how do you go about building a garden wall when there's a fall or slope of 12" or 30cm front to back, Micky
Its like watching the opera, needs classical music in the background
U r the man👍
well done stu , did you sight along the guide line on the floor to keep it plumb, or was it a good guess, retired brickie.
I tried to do this without a line or level it was a total disaster. He makes it look so easy.
Cheers Stu,
not bob-on but close enough for council work ,
parabéns 👏👏👏 sempre acompanho os vídeos do canal... forte abraço 😁👊😇
Good eye. Very close.
Thanks for the shout out 👍🏼😂
You know stu, I'd still rather a house built by you this way than most of the brickies of today with levels and string lines.... Lol 💪
Sick bricky
Tell you what stu that’s good you are give a lot of people hope on building a wall if u can do it that good with out a line and a level fare play stu 👍👍
Very good
Thank you 👍❤️
What do you do with the bricks from demos like this and student projects?
Mantap bro....
hello friend VC can tell me that this pot is made that VC is for the settlement of masonry blocks
In real world terms that is perfect
Your hand look professional mate😂
What do you think of pick and dip ?
What's your mix ratio for cement its really smooth
Génial 👏👏👏👏👏
Top job there Stu , you ever thought of being a brick layer 🤣🤣😎😉👍
Doubt I could get that close with my eyesight now👈 gid job Stu
You got the skills to pay the bills
Ayyyyy just wanna say I’ve like and shared and I found out that I go to your old college and I study bricklaying and thx to u I’m now going up a level so thanks
well done mate
stu crompton not say too much within legal reasons but do u know a rob Brookfield from college and do u know a bricklayer called John Taylor
When you lay bricks do you prefer to go left to right or right to left ?
left to right mate
STU! Just noticed on TH-cam there isn't a single video showing how to change scutch combs/blades. Anyhow now I've mentioned it I know it'll play on your mind.... Haha take care mate
It’s not bad considering 😉
This was a test when I did my advanced craft C&G only diference was we where told to build as big a corner as we could
Normally !
Not that bad😊
V nice sir can I contact u asking something about foundation thanks
Theres lines on the floor?
Not bad that 👍👍👍
150K 🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊
thanks mate :)
I had to do this in school. It's more of a test of skill.
Its a hand skill, hand skills are all a test of skill!
Супер 👍👍👍
Better than most people that use all the tools lolb
Plum level range and gauge you can't go wrong
Stu crompton si tu vois se maisage fais un mur Block 14 et brique et un eail de beuf
Nice
Indians need to see this video
Corners are an art but tbh the localised levelling ie boat level across the brick .... b real on any big build these days wen the dusk shadow rolls up it looks like stevie wonder was moon lighting ...... wet trades multiple variables .... gud to the eye simp
Молодец
If I could do it like that with tape and level, I won't ask more.
10:03 in the hole.
Bricklayering blind folded... you probably could. 😂😂😂😂.
Can you do a house? 😜
Короче, как ни крути, опыт не пропьешь)
Good job 👏 👍 집에만 있으니 외롭다 여자랑 영화 같이보는게 꿈이다 ㅠi lovve u
Залипательно
Wow. Some people build them like that using a level 🤣
❤️❤️🔥🔥
Se lit qui le regarde mété le un max de pouse bleus se maçon est incroyable
Did he say anything??
In the real world of masonry not fast enough it looks good but has to be faster
He is faster when laying to a line. He's taking more time here assessing by eye for level and plumb.
By rack o th'ee.
Je te lance un défi

Сплошной самопиар
да, но он мастер
@@bachmut1910 не спорю , отменно кладёт
Still doesn’t look that bad though 😉.
Ur great bud but y you u flicking bk onto ur spot with engineering .... tip and run or just fill the holes ..... save ur bk bro
Why didn’t u put the boot on bottom brick stu u don’t have to be so honest
I really want to like this, but the camera cutting after every brick is making my head hurt. It also seems to kind of bullshit the attempt
whatever gets you to sleep mate.

Охуенно Приятель😎👍
I’ve seen far worse from so called brickies using their tools. I guess they’re just not up to it.
