When I had mine first done which was years ago and just before summer months and after healing, I found a sunscreen lip balm and applied it to my brows. They looked nice and glossy and helped keep their colour and didn’t react in the sun. Def recommend doing.
I got them done when it first became a thing. I did my research and even went from the US to canada to do it as they were the best i could find. When they first got done they looked great. Then, faded to red/pink. I have light and ashy color hair and there wasn't any info on ot turning pink and i wasnt told or found in research that happens. I kept getting them done to cover it. My person was great and recommended that I stopped doing it and allow them to fade. I even looked into lasering them off but that in itself can turn out bad. I wish I hadn't done it because now I'm trying to cover the pink for years. They are faded after 2 years of not doing them but still obviously pink. By chance, I found using Glo Skin Beauty Tinted Primer and brushing it over my brows it does cover the pink. I then use the Anastasia brow wiz to create the shape over it. But with any makeup, things tend to come off by the end of the day. And yes you will likely have to use more makeup than you thought to shape them or cover them. Its not the "I woke up like this" look we all hope for. I spend more time trying to fix them than if I wouldn't have gotten them done.
I had mine microbladed years ago i totally regret it,i never could see the brush strokes, they are just pink color now and i have to keep covering with pencil etc,its a pain in the ass, thanks for your advice love from 🇬🇧
I totally regret it as they don’t last long at all. I couldn’t see the hair strokes after 6 months and now I am left with pink blobs which I hate and they cost me $1,000! Also they are too low, way below my hair line and far too close together. I really did my research too and went to someone who had great reviews (here in Australia.)
Sometimes reviews can help but it’s so much about the before and after photos and if you can see photos of clients that’s been done past 6 months to a year! Make sure to always check to see how long they have been doing this and see if there are any reviews ans photos from people after one year! The artist should have told you that the hairstrokes will dissipate and blend in and that the lines will never be as clean and crisp as you first had it done! You can’t see mine at all but for me that’s ok. As long as you have a background! The pinkish tone usually happens to most of us which should have been explained to you! The ink choice matters as well as how they insert the ink! There are places you can look into where you can get them removed!
I lost most of my brow hairs due to chemo, now 4 years ago. The cost is so high so I want to make sure it is worth it. I don’t mind a annual or biannual touch up.
Hi Jasmine, Thanks for sharing. Very helpful! It would be great to run a list of great Artists on the East Coast. We need as much guidance as possible. Also, can you do a tutorial on some of the best "At home templates" we can use to get perfectly shaped brows? Thank you!!!
Hi there, there are so many artists all around the world. Unfortunately I only know great artists in my area, LA. I am offering to help in going through good artist in your area. Find some you like in your area by going on instagram or website and forward that to me so I can tell you if there good or not
Thank you Jasmine! I have my eyebrows microbladed and totally regret it, they turned a grey color and now I spend a lot of time covering the ugly color. I want them removed can you give any advice on that. ❤❤❤
I have the same problem Alina. They turned grey also and I have to put makeup on each day. Terrible. I guess those young ladies who are doing that don't know really what they are doing and are attracted to it because it's a lot of money per client. 😐
Some dermatologist offices offer tattoo removal. They are very effective! Google tattoo removal in your area and let me know if you find anyone. I can look to see if there any good. I only have recommendations in LA
I have try this and it was a desaster for near a thousand dollars (Canada). I don't promote this. I had to spend so much time to try to take them off!!! The brows we're not identical, they were soooo dark and I am blond. A desaster...😮
Hi Jasmine! Thank you so much for this informative video as well as all of your other extremely helpful videos! I have decided to have microblading done and have come across Microblading LA in Woodland Hills. Are there any thoughts that you may have about this and also thoughts on artists that you would recommend? Any suggestions or thoughts that you may have will be greatly appreciated 😊❤
Thanks for asking but I dint think I would ever make a video on self waxing. That could go bad really quick! There’s so much more to it than just showing in a video! There are classes for that, even if your just looking to do it yourself
@@Jasmines_arch You are a wonderful teacher! Ok. I figured you could teach us. Do you still microblade eyebrows? If you do how can I contact you? If you don’t I apologize I misunderstood. I’ve been walking around with ratchet eyebrows because I just didn’t know how to fix them. I’ve learned a lot watching your videos. I finally have eyebrows that I’m not too embarrassed to wear. 😂
@@Kindlyone777 I don’t micorblade anymore. That was about 8 years ago since I use to so them. Thanks for asking but if you find some in your area, I can help in navigating whoes good or not
Brows can also fall out at menopause…..mine did. I’ve had mine tattooed……nano bladed and they are pretty good although the colour has gone a bit gray. I have medium brown colour hair, what product is the best to tone down/blend in the gray?
1:17 a.m Thank you for the info! I am 62 and yes my eye brows are not as thick as they used to be! I live in the Houston Texas metropolitan area. Do you know of any good tattoo artists in my area?
I disagee with still having to need to put makeup on it. I put sunscreen on them and go, allowing me to have zero time spent on putting makeup on and I love it. Aside from that, it's thd best money ever spent, lips and eyebrows cost me $960 in Winconsin, obvioulsy prices vary. Zero regrets.
Microbladed my eyebrows in black five years ago. They turned a light orangey color. I want them removed and no one will see me because they don't have a laser that treats that color. Do you know anyone in the NYC area (preferably Brooklyn, NY) that you can refer me to? Thank you and have a nice day!
