There are so many delicious things about this performance. 1. Harry's intro was *adorable* - it's like he's deliberately trying to get the crowd worked up by speaking in that calm tone. There's something so hot about a guy in all-black. Love when he sang his first line straight to the camera ;) 2. I haven't seen Liam enjoy a performance so much since their Best Song Ever performances on tour (seems to be his favorite song). He's so into it, my husband :D 3. Love how Niall pointed to the crowd for the chorus, to make them feel like the Girls Almighty. I love seeing him with his guitar - it puts him in his element as opposed to standing awkwardly behind a microphone with his hands tucked behind his back. He's my baby, you know? I love seeing him laughing and alive and vibrant - that's why I love seeing him with Louis. 4. LOUIS FUCKING ADORABLE TOMLINSON - I'll run out of fingers trying to type this, but damn his happy stroll to the crowd in the beginning, damn the way he says 'lightning', damn his perfection straight to hell.
I'm definitely not a teen or a tween or even in my twenties. But I love this group. Despite what critics say I know that they are truly talented. More than that - they have wonderful stage presence. They always keep us entertained. And of course - they are so easy on the eyes. I think it's the fact that he clearly holds back and he breathes and sings separately. People with a good ear hear his nervousness. He does better at smaller venues and in recordings.
