Speed Building an ENTIRE Island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

- I am recreating my New Leaf town in New Horizons! This video shows the first and biggest step of placing the town's paths, foliage, houses, and projects. Of course, this is a lot so I don't show every single thing being placed but enough of everything to give you an idea.
With this done, next up will be recreating the shops!

Thank you! Honestly I kind of feel like New Leaf never ended since I play Pocket Camp every day. Also with New Leaf only being $20 I totally recommend playing the game again! Although one does miss the quality of life changes from New Horizons.
imo new leaf is way better than new horizons
@@hihii9140 in your opinion what makes it better? I think right now they are about equal for me but New Horizons only gets its edge cause I love decorating the whole.island. the overall charm of New Leaf is much more enjoyable though and of course I miss all the items.
@@ShroomieCrossing i like new leaf more because the villagers are way better and aren't bland, the music is way nicer, and i just feel like it's more entertaining for me tbh. but yea the downside of new leaf is that u can't decorate as much ;-;

This was actually quite entertaining to watch! New Horizons is my first AC game, so its nice to see more seasoned players talking about the previous games. New Leaf looks fun! Too bad I no longer own a 3DS

hi! if u ever recreate a new leaf town in the future, or for ppl who want to do this themselves, weeds r not seen as a valid object when terraforming, therefore u don’t have to clean them up before doing so. u can place a tile of water or cliff on top of a weed and it will just be covered up and disappear. :)

It's probably because that is where you go to move all the other buildings so there's no where you can go if it was being moved? Maybe? Idk what their reasoning was 🤷🏼♀️
I wish you could at least leave it once in the beginning when you upgrade it from a tent. Like a "where do you want the building to be" kinda thing, then you're screwed when you choose it

I lost my 3ds in London when I was there last year so my New Leaf town was lost as well and I’m still sad abt it :(
I lost my copy too!
I moved to a new apartment at the end of September last year and during the move some of my games went missing and sadly one of the games I lost was my new leaf game which is unfortunate :(

How did you measure and get everything (mostly) in the right place? Especially since the acnl Island is much bigger
ACNL has a smaller town so it fit with room to spare on the right. And I just started from a fixed point in the bottom corner opposite Harvey's campsite and worked from there count each thing.

9:32 umm is nobody going to say anything about the fact that you need a golden watering can to get gold roses...
It's a myth that you need a gold watering can. In past games you did but not anymore. I got over 50 gold Roses using a normal can.

Hello! I just did a re-start of my animal crossing village. I just wanted to ask, how do you get terraforming? I’ve asked my teacher (he plays ac) but he said he didn’t know either.
Get kk to come to town. Basically just do what Tom Nook tells you everyday. It takes at least two weeks but more if you dont do things day of request.

Why is your hole island filled with cliff
In new leaf you normally live on the cliff, cauz you'd always need to walk down some stairs to get to the beach; shes just doing it exactly like their :')

Dunno since this island and my og one combined hours but I would say probably 50ish. All I did was decorate so no hours went into money or creature collecting. Plus I knew exactly what I was doing.

How did you get so much money?
This island is on my 2nd switch so on Sundays irl I would time travel on this island until I got a good turnip price. Then I would go back and forth between the two towns buying and selling turnips. Once I hit 1000 subs I can make community posts and I'm hoping to open this up to my subs too when I do it again.
