- Join us for the latest installment of our Winter Spiti 2024 vlog series in Episode 15, as we embark on the journey back home with hopes of encountering snowfall at Nako. Despite the absence of snow in Kaza, distant glimpses of snowfall encourage us to set out on our homeward journey.
As we traverse the icy roads, we encounter treacherous black ice and witness other vehicles struggling, and cars are sliding on black ice, yet our Ford Endeavour navigates through with remarkable ease. Upon reaching Nako, our anticipation for snowfall is met with disappointment, but locals assure us of the likelihood of snowfall later in the evening.
Deciding to stay in Nako for the day, we secure accommodations at a homestay and venture to explore the enchanting Frozen Nako Lake on foot. Our excitement reaches new heights as our dream of experiencing snowfall becomes a reality in the evening.
