দুঃখের দিনে এল রাজ অধিরাজ,
ভয় কি বা তোর, কি বা মান লাজ।
শরম শরম ব্যথা, নীরব বুকের কথা,
অসম্মান কালিমা লিখা।
মান অভিমান যত, ঘুছিল আঘাত শত,
কলঙ্ক হল জয়টিকা।
ওরে ছন্নছাড়া ভাঙ্গ পাষাণ-কারা,
নারায়ন এল আঙ্গিনায়।
সে যে মানিক ছড়ায়ে যায়।।।।
