Ngl, I'm incredibly excited about this release since it was my first Beyblade from childhood. It looks like a rather faithful re-creation and for that, I'm a very happy dude!! Regardless of performance, I cannot wait to spin Driger S once again after SO many years!! I no longer have my original due to losing it in a cross-country move, but this new gen X version should fill that void quite nicely :-) Thanks for covering this release, Nuc!!
Yeah and it’s a factor none of the less. An entire combo still not as heavy compared to a blade by itself, that’s when we got an issue. It just doesn’t weight enough, and it doesn’t hurt TT to just make it heavier.
Will definitely find a way to make plastic gen win, hopefully more "metal" parts come out, like flat or orb, something like that. Metal sharp looks interesting but as history has shown us it might get banned from damaging the stadium. Great vid btw
Honestly watching dranzer and driger battle looks amazing and is so reminiscent of the originals and the way the plastic gen battles look/feel. Not just the design and colors but the way they move and bounce off each other. So maybe an unpopular take but idc the point I'm making here is valid. Leave them the way they are they accomplish their goal of bringing back that feel and vibe of the originals. They dont need to be meta and or even competent against the other X beys. As long as the battle between plastic remake vs plastic remake is fun/competent thats all that really matters. It does its job as a recreation of the originals. Also keep in mind that meta in general or everything being about meta this type of mentality can indeed make things stagnant and boring. Theres nothing wrong with wanting a good product or wanting to win or being super objective, of course this is all valid. But I mean the conflict of wanting to experiment or buying/trying something cause you like it and yet always having this type of negative stigma in the back of your mind that what you're doing or should I say, what you bought in this case is wrong or a bad purchase because of a review you watched or what someone told you or a reddit post you read. Cause meta this and meta that. Becoming so heavily focused on meta to a degree that leaves no room for anything else is bad. Meta in it of itself kinda leads to contradiction. You see this not just in beyblade but in games. We want stronger beys/characters/abilities etc but then when a couple of these things come out and dominate the meta. We end up wishing it would change or something new would come out or it gets boring to watch/play. Like spin steal stamina battles in burst or everyone using Wiazard Rod in X. Its defently a careful balancing act. Something I'd like to see when more plastic gen remakes release. Is a plastic gen remake only tourney format. Of course I'm sure it will have its own...dare I say it "meta" 😹 but would be an environment where these beys would offer exciting battles. Rather than just being relegated to "collection purpose only" cause they dont battle well with normal X stuffs. I know some tourney formats for classic burst existed back in burst days. Why not do a plastic remake only format for X. I'd love to see it! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ💜💙
2:22 to answer your question, while I'm not happy about it cuz I'm a Driger MAIN since the OG series was airing live and Ray was my BOY - I'm pretty sure they used the 80 height for both S remakes cuz they honestly were the tallest of the all their iterations. They got slightly shorter then wider then more aggressive then engine gear bits as the seasons went on but even the animation of the first season looked super tall and round compared to anything after they get their second beys. TLDR: Continuity for further remakes of different versions of the sacred beasts.
i just got driger myself and i already had the dranzer i love that they are bringing these beys back because plastic gen was the one i grew up with... well more with dranzer tbh i never had driger but well i do now 😅
What I'm not sure is happening here as to why Driger won all those surprising matchups is that they are all right spin but if you look at Driger Slash and Dranzer Spiral beside each other you can see Dranzer's blade slices smooth like a phoenix wing but Driger's is reversed in a claw slashing type cut. I think that might give it some surprising knockback and possible upper at angles. That combined with that point bit, it's like a stamina bit until disturbed, then goes attack. Like a reverse taper. Driger probably won't be the best but I'm definitely gonna have him in my regular rotation
Im sure ebay has the original with the metal gearing. I rememebr these use to actually make damage to the stadium. Blew our minds. Driger F was my first and only beyblade, my older brother had dranzer. I forgot what my little brother had but i think i wanna buy these to bring back some of those old memories. Almost 30 and my son just got his first beyblades but theyre the knock off starwars mandalorian style
Metal Change Base was great. And they never did a Burst version, either (so both Driger S & V2 suffered a bit for it). Then again, I don't think Burst did a Metal Flat (sucks for Driger F & Gaia Dragoon V) or even a Metal Semiflat (RIP to Driger V), either. While it hasn't been mentioned for the X-Over Project at all yet, the Point Bit seems like a dead ringer for the Fusion Driver. (Spriggan Spread Fusion remade as Spriggan 3-60P or something?) Overall, nevermind the weight...that Blade is just way too vulnerable to damage to be of any use. It ain't like the old days where the original Driger V2 could surprisingly tank hits from HMS or even early Metal Fight stuff and be...somewhat fine. (Because whether it tanked or not, regardless of opponent, all that force had to go SOMEWHERE, usually right to the Blade Base clips, eventually breaking them!)
I was really hoping we'd get Trypio, but if not I'm hoping we'll get other Dranzer variants and Wolborg at some point, if we're lucky we'll even get Seaborg. I think you can tell who my favorite team was
2 down, 2 to go. What if they threw us for a loop and they gave us Dragoon Grip Attacker as an X-bey if they weren't ready to do left spin. And Draciel Metal Ball Defender.
The Beyblade X remakes are actually really good. Can't wait for Valkyrie because I mostly like the Burst generation and I mostly had Burst Beyblades my entire life when Beyblade Burst first started but joined in Late 2019. Don't get me wrong Driger S is really good and Storm Pegasus remake will be good mostly everyone would like Burst remakes but that is for everyone. It's for every generation. Yeah it might be limited and they won't do it forever but hey at least we will get an evolution to these Beyblade this time it being a new generation evolution.
i'm really hoping that X remasters G-Revolution especially since you could kind of make a connection between the 'gears' of the X system and the Engine Gear system
I thing they just need to do v2 because they all look better and different and unique also I love the maga core system it needs love and the hms system
One thing that I’m kinda scared for the remakes is that they’ll just be too light like if they’re the average 30-40 weight then they could work but at least it’s better then having garbage teeth
Ok I might be fully wrong but I used watch a channel called Ilinnuc blader about 10-12 years ago, it was fully about beyblade just like your channel. I recently found your videos on recommended and am wondering if you are the same person😅
Its a nice release in the fact that it tries to be accurate to the og but why did they choose 4-80 at least with 4-60 it wouldve stood more of a chance 😭👍🔥
I feel like there doing this on purpose if wouldn't kill other to add metal to the bit chip or at least make the bey wider. It seems like there afraid to make them competitive.
Are we just intent on keeping Driger pronounced as digger, as opposed to tiger? The katakana on its badge clearly state "Doraiga", which corresponds with "taiga", the JP pronunciation of the English word "tiger".
I think that drigger prove itself slightly better than dranzer because of it being wider and more round, it does't have ideial weight to be taking hit early on but just that round shape my help it a lot in reflecting hits. But still this willl very unlikely meta.
They seem to really love the lion and tiger beys tbh. Though obviously they like left rotations like ldrago too. Ldrago had some of the best designs and I hope the new x model is good. Would have preferred the meteo ldrago variant but I understand them going for the og design instead for the remake
Appreciate the shoutout! Great vid🔥
Oh Hi
Another day, another victory for the OGs🐐🔥
Ngl, I'm incredibly excited about this release since it was my first Beyblade from childhood. It looks like a rather faithful re-creation and for that, I'm a very happy dude!!

A thing that a lot of people use to forget about beyblade is that weight is just one of the factors.

I feel so sad they're nerfing the plastic gens but then look like they're putting alot of effort for the MFB and Burst remake
Will definitely find a way to make plastic gen win, hopefully more "metal" parts come out, like flat or orb, something like that. Metal sharp looks interesting but as history has shown us it might get banned from damaging the stadium. Great vid btw
Yeah maybe in the next season we’ll start getting metal ratchets? Adds to the weight. And thanks for the nice comment!!
@@nuc no problem ^^
I just can't resist them old classics! Remake them all I say aha
I'm happy I still have my old main bayblade from the plastic Era. It has a old clear black drigger bottom.
Honestly watching dranzer and driger battle looks amazing and is so reminiscent of the originals and the way the plastic gen battles look/feel. I'm so happy legacy beys are being brought into the line every now and then. It hits every time🔥
Also hyped for Pegasus and the other OG legacy X Beys as well (VERY LIKELY bc, BURST STARTED IT!!!🔥🔥🔥😎😎😎)
I love putting on the stickers!
i just got driger myself and i already had the dranzer i love that they are bringing these beys back because plastic gen was the one i grew up with... well more with dranzer tbh i never had driger but well i do now 😅

They should've went with one of the 5 or 9 protrusion ratchets. Overall a decent release.
I think those Plastic gen remakes are that light, because they are really round, but that's just a theory, a BEY THEORY!
Im sure ebay has the original with the metal gearing. I rememebr these use to actually make damage to the stadium. Blew our minds. Burst had iron which was a metal flat
Thanks. I totally forgot about Iron.
I was really hoping we'd get Trypio, but if not I'm hoping we'll get other Dranzer variants and Wolborg at some point, if we're lucky we'll even get Seaborg. I think you can tell who my favorite team was
Trypio was canceled because it was too dangerous
Drigger was very first bey, this is pure nostalgia for me if I buy one.
Just got that Driger Beyblade today. I will admit the bottom is a lot taller than I thought it’d be. But still it’s a cool thing to have.
2 down, 2 to go. What if they threw us for a loop and they gave us Dragoon Grip Attacker as an X-bey if they weren't ready to do left spin. And Draciel Metal Ball Defender.

Great review and unboxing yet again
These remakes are somehow decent in attack vs attack matchups
i'm really hoping that X remasters G-Revolution especially since you could kind of make a connection between the 'gears' of the X system and the Engine Gear system
I'm bumbed out the ratchet being so tall still and the weight, I really hope they improve it for Pegasus and valkyrie
Driger will always be my favorit blade (especially Driger G) and Ray will always be my favorit blader :)
What launcher do i need for those 2 , the og launcher or burst doesnt fit.
I been waiting on this 🔥
Great video, what stadium is that?
It’s the clear X stadium but I swapped the xtreme line out for the rarer red one. Thanks!!
I really wish they would make these viable for competition I thought that maybe after burst Takara would make em good this time around
in theory, it does seem like a pretty bad bey, but I've been watching a few vids and it performs surprisingly well lol
It seems like it’s the luckiest release ever. In that it SHOULD be bad but… it gets the most random W’s sometimes.
Did I see that they went and raised one side, giving it an off-balanced movement similar to Dranzer? I was really hoping they wouldn't do that -n-
This is cool and all but I’m mainly waiting for the Pegasus and Valkyrie beys
Same brother
I thing they just need to do v2 because they all look better and different and unique also I love the maga core system it needs love and the hms system
True! I’m hoping they skip F and V. Do V2 OR GT in like season 3 of X maybe?
Personally, they should’ve used the HMS design for Driger & Dranzer
I liked the video, thanks
One thing that I’m kinda scared for the remakes is that they’ll just be too light like if they’re the average 30-40 weight then they could work but at least it’s better then having garbage teeth
This duels are more greater than any Metal Saga duel. I'm sure that Driger can beat Twisted Tempo and Lightning L-Drago.
finally, after all this years, I can rest in peace
Ok I might be fully wrong but I used watch a channel called Ilinnuc blader about 10-12 years ago, it was fully about beyblade just like your channel. I recently found your videos on recommended and am wondering if you are the same person😅
Yeah! I don’t think I ever had Blader in my name but I’ve been makin BEYBLADE videos for a LONG time.
i will print the base of the attack ring in metal, it will add up 10/15 grams
Its a nice release in the fact that it tries to be accurate to the og but why did they choose 4-80 at least with 4-60 it wouldve stood more of a chance 😭👍🔥

Is it well balanced? Great vid btw
I think that drigger prove itself slightly better than dranzer because of it being wider and more round, it does't have ideial weight to be taking hit early on but just that round shape my help it a lot in reflecting hits. But still this willl very unlikely meta.
i prefer this than limeted edition set like they do in Beyblade burst
You forgot to mention the blader of Berserker Byakko looks like Ray
"TIIIGGEEERR CLLAAAWWW!!!"
I hope Samurai Ifrit gets a x remake
Great work
Is the Bit Good ?
Yes! Point is top tier
I didn’t know you like F1 what’s the team you support?
Can't wait to get it
When they do mfb remakes for beyblade x im gonna buy em 💪
WHEN DRAGOON BEYBLADE X?!?!
Man is drigger takas fave plastic gen bey it always gets remaked
They seem to really love the lion and tiger beys tbh. Though obviously they like left rotations like ldrago too. Ldrago had some of the best designs and I hope the new x model is good. Would have preferred the meteo ldrago variant but I understand them going for the og design instead for the remake
I’m finna order mines at it with dranzer now I’m waiting on my fav dragoon n i gotta have draciel
BRO IS F1 FAAAAAN!!!! MY MAAAN!!
"Dry-ger", not "Drih-ger".
I'm prepared for the nerd emoji replies.
Dry-ger is for Japanese
Drih-ger is for English
It's a dubbing mistake. The allusion to the white tiger bit beast flew over the voice actor's head.
The english dub was weird in terms of pronunciation. They read Driger as if they read the word "tiger" as "tigger" lol
I get this instead of leon claw for the point bit.
like for that awesome f1 tshirt
TIGER CLAW!
I really hope Pegasus is good. I can’t wait
Can't wait for the release in the West 🥰👍🎮🔥
#whatis_TheX
NEXT BEYBLADE ………..
PEGASUS
Metal bit are c0ming s00n(That i’ll w0uld replace with metal p0int)
