- This video features 9 different trucks running in Poway over the last 2 years. Rapid rails do trash, and recycling, and CWS, Edge Front loaders collect the greens manually. This city also has Bridgeport Rangers, and a ZR, however, I didn't film any of those. The Front Loader collecting food waste on the outskirts of town is an older CWS front loader with a custom flat tailgate. That truck has no packer, so he raises up the body to move the food waste to the back of the truck.
On a side note, the trucks that service Poway, no longer come from the yard in Clairemont. They now come from the Escondido Disposal yard. Some of the drivers in this video no longer work in Poway, do to the farther commute to Escondido. One of the drivers that no longer works here, is Victor, the driver of 584. After 8 years of servicing Poway, he Now drives a front loader on commercial recycling in the Clairemont area. - บันเทิง

Awesome video! That first rapid rail was cool. I don't recall ever seeing a rapid rail from EDCO with those rims. The EDGE FL was really cool. Love the tipper on that truck, would be cool seeing that truck on a automated or semi-auto route. The CWS clip with the driver chucking bags upon bags was fun! I remember seeing old Heil FLs out here collecting multifamily homes where the residents just threw their trash out at the curb, so there would be tons of bags and the truck had to cycle the bucket three times just to pick up everything! Food waste trucks are always cool, neat to see one of those trucks from EDCO. Ah, lid flipping RRs are so much fun. Didn't think you could make an RR arm move that fast but danggg haha Honestly one of the coolest trucks on TH-cam. Great job!
+WMmaster626 Thanks man! I actually saw it doing a semi auto recycling in Poway a few months back, and I really regret not filming it.... It has a semi auto commercial recycling route in Solana Beach on Monday's though.

I always wondered why Edco does not have a green waste bin maybe to cut cost? Or maybe there is not a high enough demand for it? Who knows? Either way great video maybe you can film in Fallbrook sometime but If you ever do pick a safe location since the roads there are so dangerous.
does anybody know if they still run 44 and 64 for greens in Escondido? now that's its all automated greens they take greens too mir mar landfill? or MRF
+David Schieler No they do not. greens in Escondido is all ZR.
so the MSL they just use them for alley ways or they get rid of them

just wondering cause I seen a couple coming from the landfill like during summer they had tippers couldn't figure out where they were going or if they had a set route or just help other routes
Does the carry can with a tipper ever tip greens carts? Also, at 8:47, what was in those store-bought toters and will Edco take them? Where I live, Edco will only pick up the carts that they provide. Neat food waste truck, too bad it doesn't pack. Great video!

+Trashman590 No, it's still around. The only trucks that aren't their anymore are the trucks for the city of Poway.
Ah ok then so I'm guessing the trucks from Poway dump @EDI MRF. Do you know how many truck's service Poway? Long commute (fuel consumption) for the trucks coming out of the Kearny Mesa Yard heading to Poway and coming back down to dump @the Landfill, repeating the same routine. Now that EDCO transfered the Poway units to EDI the drivers have a shorter driving distance. Did you talk to any of the green waste drivers of when EDCO is going to Automate Green Waste in Poway? Awesome footage though!
