I disagree with removing the between-set segments when arrows are being counted and retrieved, especially when there's an * at play. It only takes a few minutes, no reason to cut it.
What an exciting match! I would say the weather might have seriously influenced both team's performances. In some of the shots I can clearly see their risers and limbs are very wet. Wont be surprised if there are occasional strong draft as well.

It’s a competitive sports. You lose some and you win some. It’s a mantra every athlete understands. Such a pity some keyboard warriors here don’t. Just support your team objectively iso criticising their selection. Sheeh
The korean coach needs to start shouting commentary such as "good job" "well done" after every point that korea scores as well. No matter how well prepared you are, this can disturb mental focus so I don't understand why the chinese yelling commentary was allowed to go on.

Mental focus is the most important thing and it will be disturbed by people shouting like that. Like in tennis: everyone knows, anyone apart from the athletes needs to be quiet to not disturb the mental state of the athletes.
It means more than you think to the Chinese people, winning a Gold in sport vs none other than Korea = HUGE sponsorship from the Chinese Government .. I am sure they needed that win.
Every national athlete around the world gets government money when they win gold for the country. It means just as much to the Koreans too. For Korean men, if they win gold for the nation in any event, they are exempt from the mandatory military service once they turn 18.

One of the rules of archery when it comes to performance is “only change one thing at a time” so Korea change all 3 proven archers….
