my guess is a flippy guy like Ricochet.
think wwe is just the catch-all term theyre using, unless it was pillman (who was on the apron) cos the video was swerve and ospreay, neither of which are with wwe aha cool as hell either way though, spanish fly is scry as hell
In the video it looks like Will Ospreay, though he's obviously not in WWE. He even commented on the Insta posting.
@@TheNjstyles2012 the person who sent it isn't necessarily in the video. Whoever it is could have just used that clip to show them how the move is supposed to look.
Just checked and it was Swerve. He did work for WWE/NXT for a while, so he counts.

Ladies, that.. was.. PERFECT! I've been watching pro wrestling forever and up until now. I have NEVER seen two female wrestlers full of a standing Spanish Fly! Congratulations!
Love you two. So close to Valentine’s Day, it’s like you two go in for a hug and Cori gets an evil-look😈 and hits Gracie with a WWE finisher. I believe it’s called a “standing/running Spanish-fly”. There is a top rope variation that would be cool for you all to try, but be careful if you do, a couple WWE guys recently botched it on live tv and they halted the match. They were okay but definitely rung their own bells, landing on their heads and necks.

Really fun video and you guys really nailed the move! I couldn't help but see that the Powerbomb-like move isn't in this video so I'm really hoping we'll get a second part.
For those curious, the move performed in the video is called a Spanish Fly, and to be specific that is the standing variation.
Previously it was only done from the top turnbuckle but in the last ten years or so, the standing version has become even more popular. Two wrestlers who've popularised it are Ricochet and Will Ospreay, but I'm not sure who the inventor of the standing version is.
The original Spanish Fly from the turnbuckle originated as a double team maneuver by the brothers Jose and Joel Maximo, and Rey Mysterio is one of the wrestlers who brought the solo version to the mainstream.

doing it on crash pads is one thing , doing in a wrestling ring is a whole other bag, don't hesitate, if you do, somebody will get injured, that being said you guys did really well and crushed it!!! congrats :)

If you really are willing to go that path, i mean WWE, then you have to make this your signature move and of course you need to call it "The Most Intense Hug" but as a Tag team u have to put you adversary in the middle so it would be a 3 person move and that will be a variation of the same move but different. Hope to see you 2 one day on a wrestlig match, cheers!🥂

ok ya, WWE is hard. always took it for granted what i was seeing on TV all those years ago.
You should see the athletes of today. This match is totally silly and looks like a dance rather than competition but watch Ricochet vs Osprey. The athletic ability of these guys is just outrageous
holy crap. i got tired watching a 6 minute highlight reel of that match. i think the full length one of it goes on for over 20 minutes? god dam. 20 minutes of them connecting over and over and over like that. fucking wow.@@theraVen27

This is my forte'... Training to wrestle. I wrestled for years on the indies, but had to stop due to being a single dad and needed to devote my time to my child. Great job ❤

Great collab. Something to check out for future reference would be gags from the great silent stars, Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd. (Side note: Lucille Ball studied with Keaton, so she's someone to check out, too, for physical gags.)
